The sun rose from the changing landscape of the eastern side, illuminating its light all over the world. The light peaked through her curtains and fell right across her face, making her flinch in her sleep. Her hands sprawled over the other side of the bed only to find it bare and cold. Where did he go? Slowly, she opened her eyes, adjusting to the changes of light, and her lips puckered at the sight of the empty side. Sitting quietly on the bed she began to contemplate what made him leave her so early in the morning? Did he leave her? Her heart froze at the thought and beads of sweat began to form on her forehead. NO! she thought to herself. Ivan would never leave her.Just then the song Maps began to fill up the air. Seamlessly, she snatched the phone from the chest of drawers, eager to know whether it was Ivan or not. To her disappoinment it was Tahniat.Poo: Yes, Tahni?Tahni: Po what are you up to?Po lets out a sigh of irritation.Poo: Tahni don't you have anything to do? Like spend some time with your legally wedded husband!Tahni: Jeez Po.. What's up with you? Why do you sound so groggy?
Po rolls her eyes but she pauses in the mid way when she hears some ruffling sound from the other end.Poo:Nee your there to right? Guys! What do you want?Nee: Po girl! You don't have to be like that with us. You literally have forgotten about us after you met Ivan.Poo: Fine, I'm sorry guys. I am just a little bit off because Ivan left without informing me. I love you guys more than Ivan, you know that right?Tahni and nee: Of course bud!Nee: Right... Po that's why we called...Ummm... There is something about Ivan...Po freezes and chill runs down her spine.Po: What is it?Tahni: Well Po, Adnan and I went to breakfast at this hotel near

our place and we saw... ummm. Ivan there.. You know what Po he is still there and you would want to see it for yourself. Pooja tried hard to fight back the tears. I wont break down in front of my friends.Po:Ill call you guys in abit. Tahni text me the address. Bye.Before they could bid goodbye to their friends, she hung up, clutching the side of her dress tightly.Pooja parked her car in the parking area of the hotel and

as she stepped outside, her stomach knotted into a ball. With long strides Popo reached the lobby, her hands still clenched tightly. Her eyes surveyed for any traces for Ivan. But alas, he was nowhere to be seen. Just then, two very sleek woman, who had their face covered with a long veil, broke Popo's trance. The woman in pink spoke in a high pitched tone My lady, you must come this way.' with that the woman in blue grabbed Popo's hand roughly making her wince. Excuse me! Leave my hand this instance!' But no one around seemed to notice her struggle against these two strange women. The people in the lobby seemed oblivious of her presence which made her queasy. She was in trouble, or atleast she thought so.She was literally dragged to the hall room which was pitch black and when they reached there, the woman let go of her instantly and gave her a hard push inside. She tumbled on the floor and she could hear one of the chuckle at the sight. She glared at them but this made the other woman laugh out loud.During this nuisance, she felt two strong arms tugging around her waist, helping her to up. That instant she knew who it was. It was her Ivan! The lights seemed to come flashing back to life and her eyes instantly meet with his. An electrifying connection seemed to form between them, lighting up their world. Tenderly, he picked her hand up and handed her a paper. She looked back and forth between the paper and her man, frowning in between in confusion. Read' he spoke huskily. Her fingers traced over the paper and she peeked in the paper of what was written on it. Marry me.' she said out loud and gasped at her own statement. Her hand reached her mouth in surprise and her eyes shot up wide. Ivan answered Yes I will love!' then he looked at her, searching for her eyes whether she agreed to it or not and she simply nodded, still taken aback with the sudden turn of events.
