I think Milind's gifting Prachi a Saree had a lot signficance than it just being his 1st real gift to her(he gifted her the house, right?). He put his life at stake to get her that Saree and to protect it afterall.
Remember when he enacted the Rape Scenario(đĄ), he pulled the Pallu and the Saree tore. That was kind of an evidence of his attempt to rupture her dignity And I think the saree he presented to her was symbolic of his efforts of restoring that dignity and self respect. And the way he presented it to her, infront of a temple having accepted his mistake and humbly accepted that he had lost to the genuine person that she is... was quite a momentđł And the Saree was white which represented her purity, dignity, elegance & not to forget her Angelic virtuesđł. And the perfect culmination to the entire incident was that Milind himself helped her with the final touches of dressing up in that Sareeđł
No wonder the packet was so important for him to protect that packet. If it was all about replenishing Prachi's wardrobe, then he would had an entire designer store shifted to Shah Mansion. And he surely wouldnt have bought only one saree if it was all about her non existent wardrobe. It was important for him to go out and buy her the Saree despite such heavy rains.
Ok, now all my anger with regard to his unreasonable behaviour for venturing into the rains for a saree and my slight annoyance with the way he was obsessed with the packet is goneđ Finally Milind, U got me to value your reasons on why and how important that packet was for you... and I am proud of the way you conducted yourself after realizing your mistakeđ¤
