Shahid Kapoor has much reason to celebrate. He's won awards and got rave reviews for Haider, he is said to move into a plush sea-facing home and also he turns 34 today.

So, to commemorate these events, Shahid threw a bash at his new home in Praneta in Juhu, Mumbai. He had his close friends and family to celebrate with him.

Last night, he got back home from an awards function around 11. Then when the clock stuck 12, guests began to troop in.

The highlight of the evening was also designer Masaba Gupta walking in hand in hand with her boyfriend producer Madhu Mantena.

The other guests at the party were Shahid's younger brother Ishaan, designer Kunal Rawal, director Vikas Bahl and Abhishek Chaubey who's directing Shahid in Udta Punjab.

Shahid's neighbours Vidya Balan and her husband Siddharth Roy Kapur were not a part of the bash. Shahid was linked up with Vidya when they worked together in Kismat Konnection.

Last night, he got back home from an awards function around 11. Then when the clock stuck 12, guests began to troop in.

However, there was one lady who caught our attention. She did her best to avoid the media. She even entered the house through the basement. When a friend of Shahid's was asked about the mystery woman, he said, "She is his very good friend. Nothing more."
