Zee TV's Holi bash is certainly going to be a visual treat for the viewers. Colours, entertainment and a whole lot of dhamaal is what one can look forward to. And of course, the beautiful performances coming from your favourite actors and jodis of the channel will be the major highlights of the bash.
But the loyal fans of Jodha Akbar (Balaji Telefilms) will be left disappointed as they might miss watching the lead actors from the show in the event.
Sighing already???
And knowing that Paridhi Sharma, the protagonist of Jodha Akbar is a dance aficionado', it is very tough to come to terms with her absence.
But what really prompted Paridhi to give the Holi event a miss?
Well, we hear about more than one versions here. And here's sharing them with our lovely readers.
A reliable source told us, "Paridhi was certainly approached for the event. However, the pretty lass demanded a huge sum of money to shoot for it. Also, she had very less time to offer owing to the rigorous shoot schedule of her show. And all this lead to the channel going ahead shooting the event, without Paridhi being a part of it. As Paridhi was not there, Rajat (Tokas) too got a miss."
Oh well!! But when contacted, Paridhi had a different story to tell: "Stories about me asking for more money are complete rubbish. I don't know from where this false rumour is coming. As for me, I love to dance, and was very much interested in dancing for the Holi event on Zee TV. But our hectic shoot schedules did not allow us to be part of it. You must ask the channel about reasons for our non-inclusion."
Post this, we did not leave any thread untouched and decided to buzz the channel source for a comment on the same.
According to a source in the channel, "There is no issue as such. The current Jodha Akbar track is so time consuming and intense that the actors have not been able to get time off to shoot the Holi sequences in Mumbai. But now, we are trying to shoot portions of their Holi sequence at Karjat, so that they can be part of the event."
Whatever said and done, it would be really nice to see the actors of Zee TV's #1 show Jodha Akbar taking centre stage, at the Holi event and getting into their entertaining best.
