Printer selected for French edition of Deathly Hallows

Transcontinental, the largest book printer in Canada, has been chosen by French publisher Editions Gallimard to print Harry Potter et les reliques de la mort, the French edition of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. As with the last book, it will be printed on unbleached, 100% post-consumer recycled paper. [more...]

Harry Potter still on top, but for how long?

Earlier this week I bumped into a huge display with dozens of copies of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. Who's going to buy all of these books? It sold 11.5 million copies over the first 10 days, and 14 million were printed, this may lead one to wonder whether Scholastic will get hit with retailer returns. [more...]

EA Ships Harry Potter game for the Mac

Electronic Arts today announced that Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix is now available to order for Mac users. This is among four of the first games ever published by EA for Mac OS X. The game can be purchased online today, and will be available in Apple retail stores on Tuesday, August 21. [more...]
