Priyanka misses Oscar after party due to fever

While everyone in Hollywood was getting their hair and make-up done for the 87th Academy Awards After Party, our rockstar Priyanka Chopra was in her bed in jammies with popcorn. The actress-singer was supposed to attend the bash, but unfortunately she was ill.

She took to microblogging website Twitter to share the news and tweeted, "Felling Ill..And it's rainy..Should I skip the post Oscar parties today? #Contemplation..sitting in bed In Jammies with popcorn sounds good!"

She later posted on her Twitter handle, "Ok so I'm fevered up! Decision made! Jammies n Khichdi it is!! Sorry @sophiabanksc !!!"

We think Priyanka was really looking forward to the after party as she had also posted, "#LABlues rain rain go away so I can wear my gown!!"

But because of her fever she stayed at home.

The 2015 Vanity Fair Oscars party was held at the Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts in Beverly Hills on Sunday.

Priyanka, it's called ibuprofen. It takes care of a fever very quickly.

There is no way that she missed this over a fever. She's there to get her face and name exposed and there is not better networking opportunity in Hollywood than post Oscar parties. I'm guessing she didn't get an invite, to any of the parties.

Yep. Except now she's brought more attention to this whole thing. Most people probably wouldn't have even thought of her when thinking Oscar parties etc. Now everyone is aware that she didn't go, and I doubt that most people believe her "fever" excuse.
