"Its Najma's house also. She can come here weneva she wants," replied Asad.

"U can tell d same thing to anyone who creates a fuss on Najma cumn here," said Zoya.

"If I want to woo a girl then which is d best place?" asked Ayaan.

"Give us also na," said Asad.

Asad n Ayaan luks at each other n makes annoyed faces. They goes into d kitchen.

"Such a khadus. She did not even shared d cookies wid us teln us to get for ourselves 4m d kitchen," said Asad.

"Let it be, bhaijaan. We r teaching her a lesson na," said Ayaan.

"Yaa, lets get d things," said Asad wid a smile.

They takes 2 plates of cookies n 2 packets of chips n goes out of d kitchen. They come in d hall n sees Zoya happily munching cookies. They then starts to leave d hall.

"Where u both r going?" asked Zoya.

"We r going to our rooms," replied Ayaan.

Asad n Ayaan left d hall. Zoya finished her cooked n watched TV for some time.

"I will sleep now," said Zoya n left d hall.

Zoya went to her room n was shocked to see d sight before her. Asad n Ayaan were eating cookies on her bed n spilling d crumbs on d bed. They were even eating chips while spilling some chips 4m d packet while eating.

"Wat d hell? Why u both came to my room like dis?" asked Zoya annoyingly, "And why r u eating on my bed n spilling cookies crumbs on my bed? Maine aaj hi bedsheet badla tha aur tum dono ne ise ganda kar diya. Tum dono k vajah mujhe cheetiyan(ants) kaategi. Everyone knows dat pehle se chips k packets me chips se jyaada hawa bhara rehta hai. Fir bhi tum dono aise chips waste kar rahe aur floor ganda kar rahe ho."

"Dis is for making dat mandir joke on me," replied Ayaan wid a smile.

"So, u both have messed my bed n floor," said Zoya staring at them.

"On those days, I was just pretending to be OCD but u r really d one," teased Asad.

"I am not an OCD. Par iska matlab ye nahi hai ki itna kahi bhi itna jyaada gandgi failaani chahiye," said Zoya annoyingly.

"Glad dat u r not an OCD but still tumhe saaf safaai itna pasand hai to mera bhi karma saaf kar do. Thoda ganda hai," said Asad wid a smile.

"Mera bhi room thoda ganda hai. Use bhi saaf kar do," said Ayaan wid a smile.

"Shut up. I am not a maid," said Zoya annoyingly, "Tum dono apna room khud saaf kar lo ya servants ko bol do."

Asad n Ayaan giggled. Zoya got more annoyed as they were still eating.

"Get out my bed," shouted Zoya.

Asad n Ayaan got so startled by her shouting dat they spilled all d cookies n chips on her bed making Zoya glare at them. Asad n Ayaan quickly got up 4m her bed. Zoya picked up a broom 4m d floor.

"Bhaijaan, lets go 4m here. Zoe has to clean her room," said Ayaan wid a laugh.

"Not me but u will clean d floor," said Zoya wid a smile.

Ayaan got shocked.

"I will not do it," said Ayaan.

"Oh really?" asked Zoya wid a broad smile, "1^st u both come in my room on my absence n then spoil my bed n floor."

"It was bhaijaan's idea," replied Ayaan.

"But u only wanted to get back at Zoya," said Asad.

"Ayaan, u will clean d mess on d floor. Agar tune meri baat nahi maani main iss jhaadu se tuje maar maarke tera halwa bana doongi," threatened Zoya beating d broom hard on d floor making Ayaan scared.

"Zoe, dis is not right," said Ayaan in a scared voice.

"It will be right wen I will use dis broom on u," said Zoya wid a smile waving d broom at him.

"I will clean d floor. Plz, don't beat me," said Ayaan in a scared voice.

"Good," said Zoya wid a broad smile.

She gave him d broom n said, "Start."

Ayaan started cleaning d floor where he n Asad made mess.

"I think I sud go," said Asad.

As Asad was going, Zoya came before him.

"Where r u going ha?" asked Zoya wid a smile, "Change my bedsheet."

"Wat?" asked Asad shockingly.

"There is one more broom in my room," replied Zoya in a threatening tone.

"I will change d bedsheet," said Asad in a scared voice.

"Good," said Zoya wid a broad smile.

"Pillow covers bhi change kar dena," said Zoya.

"Okay," said Asad.

Zoya opened a cupboard n gave Asad another bed sheet n pillow covers to change. Asad began changing d bed sheet. Both Ayaan n Asad were making annoyed n irritating faces while working. Zoya was watching them smirking at them in between.

"I have cleaned d floor," said Ayaan getn up.

Zoya checked d floor n got satisfied.

"I have changed d bed sheet n pillow covers," said Asad n got up 4m d bed.

Zoya picked up d broom n said in a warning, "Next time, if u both do dis again then d broom will talk wid both of u."

"Okay," said Asad n Ayaan 2gthr.

"Can we go now?" asked Asad.

"Yaa," replied Zoya wid a smile.

Asad n Ayaan left d room. Zoya kept d broom back on d floor n got on her bed.

"Ye dono dobaara aisa karne se pehle 2 baar jarur sochenge," said Zoya wid a smile.

Zoya then lied down n closed her eyes to sleep.

Scene shifts to Asad's room.

"Zoe was really horrible, bhaijaan," said Ayaan.

"Its really not nice to mess wid Titli," said Asad.

"If we do dat again then she will really beat us wid d broom," said Ayaan.

"Sumtyms she is really a bully but still she is so sweet," said Asad wid a smile.

"Bhaijaan, now also u r thinking of love," said Ayaan.

"Cuz I love her n very soon I will clear away her fears," said Asad wid a smile.

"I will be very happy wid dat," said Ayaan wid a smile.

After lunch, NikNuzHum were watching TV in d hall while ZeeYa were sitting on d other couch n playing games on their cells. Zoya now did not had even tape bandage on her wound as it was healed but it still had a little scar. Just then, Najma comes in d house. She was wearing a sleeveless purple top n black jeans. ZeeYa stands up while NikNuzHum were still sitting. ZeeYa were shocked dat they were not bothering abt Najma cumn here.

"Hiii Najma, nice to see u here. Asad told dat he has called u. I recognized u 4m Asad's photo albums on FB," said Zoya wid a smile.

"Nice to meet u too, Zoya. I saw ur n ur sister Zeenat's photo n article in a magazine," said Najma wid a smile.

"U sit comfortably. I will call Asad n Ayaan," said Zeenat wid a smile.

"I can call u Zeenat di n you as Zoya di," said Najma wid a smile.

"No, u call me Zoya. Or Zoe dat my friends n Ayaan call me," said Zoya wid a smile.

Asad n Ayaan comes in d hall.

"U both r making distance between us n our sister," said Nuzhat wid hatred.

"If we want to make distance between u and ur sisters then we don't need to do any efforts as there is already distance between u all n Najma cuz u all never talked to Najma even in college cuz ur parents told them not to talk to her," said Zeenat coolly.

"But who sees in college whether u all talk to her or not? Also, u can talk to her on phone n social networking sites. But u all never did even all dat. Luks like u all don't like Najma cuz she is modern n wears western clothes like us," said Zoya coolly.

HumNuz r shocked hearing wat they said.

"Stop talking nonsense," said Nuzhat angrily.

"Wer not talking nonsense. If u all really liked Najma then before us u all wud have greeted her but u all were just busy in watching TV," said Zeenat calmly.

"Drinks?" asked Nuzhat shockingly.

"I mean non-alcoholic drinks," replied Asad.

"Then we will be there in dis party," said Zeenat.

"While d party will go on, I will clear all d fears of Titli n tell my feelings to her," thinks Asad in his mind.

"It will be in dis house only," said Ayaan.

"Dats great," said Zoya.

"Najma, u also come for d party," said Asad.

"But wat will others in dis house say?" asked Najma.

"U don't worry abt them," replied Ayaan.

They talked for some more time before Najma left.

Next morning, after breakfast Zoya was sitting on her bed. She was wearing a sleeveless lavender coloured churidar dress.

"Wat sud I wear for party 2day?" asked Zoya.

She gets up n opens her cupboard. She luks at various dress. Her eyes fell on d green short dress which Asad helped her choose at d mall.

"Shall I wear dis?" asked Zoya.

"But I have not even talked wid Asad abt his feelings for me," said Zoya.

"Well, I will talk wid him. I think I sud wear dis dress," said Zoya.

She shuts her cupboard. She comes out of d room n sees Asad who also got out of his room. He also sees her.

"Zoya, I want ur help for 2day's party," said Asad.

They went in d garden n sat on d garden bench.

"Who all u invited?" asked Zoya.

"Some employees 4m Siddiqui Constructions n some of my friends," replied Asad.

"We sud invite Yash n Aarti also," said Zoya.

"Ohhh," said Zoya.

"Wat is d best thing to serve d guests as starters?" asked Asad.

"Various types of kababs of both vegetarian n non-vegetarian according to guests preference, cold-drinks n mock tails," replied Zoya.

She tells him abt various mock tails n other non-alcoholic drinks.

"How do u know so much abt various mock tails?" asked Asad.

"Wen I n di were attending rehab for our drinking addiction, it was hard for us to come out of it. We then used to learn n make various mock tails for ourselves to help us quit drinking. We don't know wat happened to us to start drinking n continue it for 2 years before our nana n nani came to know of it. As I said earlier di was 18 n I was just 14 wen started drinking. Wen di was 20 n I was 16, we even used to going to discos, nightclubs n pubs once in 2 weeks. We did a lots of mistakes. We even made fake IDs for myself as only above 18s were allowed in d discos. After rehab time, we were able to move on 4m those days. But after cumn here, sometimes we still remember those times n feel guilty for getn into wrong things. Eventhough we used to be disturbed cuz of our childhood n some of d problems still facing while we were even high schools n colleges, we sud not have done all those things. We r glad dat we never smoke n got into drugs. We r also glad dat we never did sick things like sleeping wid various boys to relieve our stress," replied Zoya.

Asad felt bad as Zoya said all dat. But he felt happy dat she shared dat wid him.

"U both have done mistakes. But its good dat ur nana n nani came to know n stopped all dat. Its very nice dat u both moved on after rehab but u both sud not think of those days eventhough u both r here. Dat will only give pain to both of u," said Asad.

Zoya was amazed wid d way he was so understanding. Due to air, her dupatta fell on d grass. Asad saw it n picked it up. He then puts it on her. She smiles at dis.

"Lets go inside," said Asad, "We will talk later wid others.

"Okay," said Zoya.

They both went inside.

In d evening, all got ready for d party. Zoya wore d green dress which she decided to wear. Asad wore a white jersey, black leather n blue jeans. Some of d employees of Siddiquis Constructions came wid their sisters, girlfriends or wives. Asad's friends even had girls. GaZiaRin were d only one who were not liking d party but they cud not do anything. Najma had also come to d party wearing a short orange sleeveless dress. She was talking wid Ayaan. Yash n Aarti arrives n they sees Asad n Zoya 2gthr. They come to them.

"U both lived 2gthr in dat...," said Aarti.

Before Aarti was abt to say further, Zoya stopped.

"Aarti, no one except few people knows dat we lived in dat house 2gthr n were friends before we came in dis house. I want u both to not tell it to anyone. Its very important. They only know dat we met in ur company n in college for interviewing students. For some reasons, we have to hide many things as some people hates us," whispered Zoya.

"Okay, we will not tell anyone. We don't know abt ur problems but we understand dat u both have to hide many things for some reasons," said Aarti.

"U both r friends but u both luk like a couple," said Yash.

Asad n Zoya luks at each other n then him. They did not know wat to say.

"Luks like u both r really a couple and u both love each other. We all saw how u both were dancing," said Yash.

Scene shifts to d terrace where Zoya was standing. She recalls Asad staring her like she was staring in a different way some of d times while dancing. She then recalls abt her mini dance wid Asad. Does he still loves her like d way he loved her before?

"Stop running 4m ur feelings, Titli," came a familiar voice 4m behind.

Zoya turned back n was shocked to see Asad n wat he said.

"U r shocked to hear d name after so long which only I call u," said Asad wid a smile.

"Wat do u want to say, Asad?" asked Zoya confusingly n turned to leave 4m d terrace.

As she passed Asad, he caught her hand n pulled her closer to him himself.

"U will not go till I am done talking wid u," said Asad.

"Wat do u want to talk wid me?" asked Zoya.

"I was really missing u so much, Titli. I think we both sud marry each other as we r business partners n our enemies r common," replied Asad wid a smile.

Zoya was shocked at wat he said.

"I trusted you a lot. I never thought dat u cud say all dis. U want to marry me for these reasons but love is important in marriage," said Zoya n pulled out her hand.

As she turned to leave d terrace, Asad again caught her hand n pulled her more closer to him than before.

"U said dat u trusted me a lot. U can't believe dat wen I told those reasons to marry u. But where was ur trust wen u rejected me dat night? Why didn't u trusted me n told me everything abt ur identity then?" asked Asad in a hurt tone dis time leaving her hand.

Zoya was shocked at his questions.

She decided to answer him honestly.

"Yes, I loved u. Before proposing u, I wanted to tell u everything abt my past including dat my own abbu murdered my ammi cuz I had trust dat u will not judge me," replied Zoya.

"U had so much trust on me then also u rejected me," said Asad.

"I was really tensed n worried cuz my abbu turned out to be Ayaan's mamu n my bua turned out to be woman who snatched mausi's happiness. I thought dat u will reject me cuz u wud have been felt betrayed by me like d way I felt betrayed wen I came to know abt Akram's real face. U wud say a lot dat u hate Mr. Siddiqui so much," said Zoya.

"Its true dat I hate Mr. Siddiqui so much but its also true dat I loved each n every moment dat I had spent wid u. I can't reject u just cuz Mr. Siddiqui is ur father n Shirin Bi is ur bua. Its not ur fault for wat all they did. As for betrayal, there is no comparison between Akram's n dis situation. Akram was such a bad person but u r not a bad person. Zoya stared at him shockingly. She cud not believe dat he confessed to her just now. Her eyes became moist. So, her heart was right dat Asad still loves her.

"I love u too, Asad," said Zoya, "In fact, I tried to forget you a lot but I cud not forget u. I never hated u but after dat night. I decided dat I will move on but I cud not do."

He smiled n brushed her locks of her behind her ear. He then came closer n kissed her forehead. She smiled at dat.

"Asad, I am so sorry. I hurt you a lot n given u pains which u didn't deserved. I was so rude to u dat night," said Zoya guiltily.

"Titli, its not ur fault. Any other girl wud have had d same fear like u. U once told an old saying to me- Jis daali pe baithe ho usi daali ko kaatna bewakoofi hai. U said hurtful words n rejected me. But u urself was also hurt so much," said Asad.

He then brought her hands a little above while she was still holding them. He held her right hand n caressed d scar on her palm. He then kissed d scar.

Precap: #Next morning, Zoya came to d pool. Asad was already there. He wore d robe on seeing her. They sat on d bench n talked while sipping blue lagoon mock tail.

#Asad comes to KV n tells his mother n Najma dat someone has came to meet them. Wen Dilshad asks him who came to meet them, Zoya up wid a smile on her face. Dilshad is very happy to see her after so many days. Dilshad got to know 4m Najma dat Asad n Zoya confessed to each other during d party. Asad tells wid a smile dat Titli has come to spend some time wid them. Dilshad n Najma gets very happy hearing dis.

A/N: Asad and Zoya both call Ayaan as their brother. Asad is his step-brother while Zoya is his real maternal cousin sister. There is no need to feel awkward as Asad is Zoya's step-cousin as he is Ayaan's step-brother. Also, Asad is Zoya's distant relative and hardly has any inter-family connection with her. Its better than Ayaan and Humeira who will be a couple much later in the story eventhough Humeira is also his real maternal cousin sister. Haider considered his mausa's one daughter Zoya as his younger sister and married his mausa's another daughter Humeira. In SSLK, both Gunjan and Mayank calls Rachana as their sister because Mayank and Gunjan are also distant cousins but Asad and Zoya are step-cousins. I decided to clear this in case some readers had some doubt or feel weird with both Ayaan as both Asad and Zoya's brother😊.
