@Bold That's the dumbest thing I've heard. How can you NOT BELIEVE in pre-marital sex?! Its not something like a unicorn or fantasy creature which doesn't exist. What is there not to believe? IT HAPPENS.IT IS THERE. ITS REAL. Its not something you believe in..I mean, what is there not to believe...?! 😕 But it is something you chose to do or you don't. See, I personally wouldn't relate to this track even if I watched this show cause growing up in Canada, we are educated about sex from as young as 11 years old and we HAVE to learn about it to get through school. Its a mandatory part of our curriculum. On top of that, people here are extremely open about all this and very casually spoken about.Some people are irritating to a point where they FLAUNT their sex lives and what not... But yeah, I understand it is still considered a taboo to even talk about it in desi countries so it makes sense on that front but it doesn't interest me...LOL... Besides,SPACE is a DUMB college... They were okay with brutal bullying (no matter how much Manik had it 'all covered'), the way Manik & Alya broke up, the sacrifice,the way Dhruv and Alya randomly became a couple, the way they threw characters in (Soha), the trillion kiss-miss attempts, that stooopid hand amputation track which led to nothing but filled 2 weeks of episodes with sobbing,... That is actually where I gave up..The story toh was always dumb to me but MaNan ALWAYS had that pull factor on me BUT that amputation track pulled the last string and got on my last nerve ...I was about to give up then and there but they promised me that there would be a New Years reunion (over jealousy off-course ) so I waited till then... The reunion was really nice and all but I didn't feel much... That is when I realized I have COMPLETELY lost interest...If you show me crap and test my patience for too long, I lose interest and the it all becomes 'bleh' to me even when you start picking up momentum..I ended it on that note itself cause if I continued watching, I would start loathing it... I already started feeling disconnected with Nandini's character with her excess sobbing, jealousy, and then being a Sati Savitri... Nah ... I didn't want to end up loathing the show altogether so I stopped...
This is actually why I like characters like Isha (from Rishta.Com), Mahi(from Mahi Way), Ashi (from Remix), Naina (from LRL), etc. They were head-strong characters who were not perfect.They didn't sob at every given opportunity and nor were they always right about everything...
