Komolika's husband Shubhrato (He's Anurag's cousin) kidnapped him for money. Anu didn't wanted to give money and he called upon police. While Prerna got the money from Bajaj because Anu wasn't ready to give money and between the police and all, Prem 1 was killed and because of that reason, Anu & Prerna got divorced too.
