Pakistani serials portray strong women characters. We have seen some really independent strong women character who respects their family but do not compromise with their self respect.

Who are ur fav women? It cannot be a single one. Lets make a list.

Rafia & Kashaf - ZGH

Durr E Shahwar

Seep- Ishq Junoon Deewangi

Saba- Meri Zaat Zarra e Benishan

Maham- Mere Qatil Mere Dildaar

Kiran - Kakkar

Khirad - Humsafar

Uzala - Mora piya

Sila - Dil E Muztar

Noor Bano - Noor Bano

My top favorite is Kashaf because I so relate myself with her. Rafia is like a saint. Her teaching really helped me to introspect myself.

Yeah so true!

Of course for me d most relatable is Kashaf.

Others though not in any order are:

Rafia,

Saba ( YQK)

Durr e Shahwar

Khirad

Seep

Shazia

Ujala ( whatever little I watched)

And all d ladies in Aaj ka rang - gulerana, aapi, aasiya, sajda

Kashaf was also strong but way too cynical.

I've seen very few Pakistani shows so far so on that basis my list is -

Rafia and Kashaf (ZGH)

Husna (Aunn's mother in Aunn Zara)

All women in Aaj Rang Hai

Pak dramas till now has strong female characters not a cry baby . Even in Humsafar Khirad is shown to be strong person when she comes as mother and the determined look at her face when she had new born baby in her hand and after that her silence was her strength and her self respect .

As all the dramas have been mentioned already but Khirad also quite dignified woman .

Khirad is definitely a dignified woman. She felt insulted when she was forced on Asher. She kept quiet at the beginning because she knew that Asher did not consider her fit for himself. Throughout the drama Khirad never disgraced herself.

Yes agree with you . Story was not new but the way it was sketched , that was the strength of this drama . Khirad was strong from the starting . But one word i do not agree when she tells Basirat that she has compromised with hr ego and all . Ego and self respect both are different words .This is the main reason also that this drama stands out and should be giving credit to Asher who with his behavior crossed the thin line being the hated person .
