The episode starts with Pihu trying to clear the payment with the manager in order to get the watch back but the manager tells her she won't get the watch back because she hasn't got the right amount of money. Pihu tells him the bill amounted to what she brought but the manager tells her it's his restaurant therefore he has increased the rate. He places the watch on the counter and asks her to bring more money and leaves. Pihu looks around for him and when she doesn't find him, she takes the watch and walks out. She returns the watch to Sunita citing that she didn't wear it. Pratibha walks in and Pihu asks her if she got her message but Sunita interrupts and says she told her. Pratibha tells them she was about to go out but Pihu panics and says it's was her dad's message that a few guests will be gathering at their house and she should prepare dinner for them. Pratibha gets worries as Sunita pretends she didn't hear the message. Pratibha wonders how the confusion was created and goes to the kitchen. Sunita evilly smirks and says the fun will begin now.
In the kitchen, Pratibha gets a dizzy spell and starts coughing. She walks out of the kitchen and loses balance hence falling to the floor. She looks at the watch which reads 4:00 and decides to get some rest until 4:30 and gets up from the floor. She grabs some water as Sunita walks into the kitchen and notices Pratibha's condition. Sunita walks away and Pratibha decides to go to her and ask for help. She goes to Sunita asks her if she can cook as she's unwell. However, Sunita gets a call and leaves citing that she has an appointment with a client.
Pratibha calls Mahen and he asks whether the meal is ready or not. She tries to talk but Mahen tells her he got embarrassed last time due to her because she forgot to put rotis in a tiffin. Pratibha unable to speak, she coughs and sneezes. She wonders whether he'll ask what happened to her voice or not. Sunita walks in with her bags and says she could have helped her but she has a lot to do. She thinks she must have already called her lover. Pratibha gets up and takes medicine then washes her face. She says she can't fall ill. She says to herself she has to get well and sits on the bed. She looks at a chair and says she used to fall ill when she sat there.
Sunita informs her mother about Pratibha's illness.
Rashi tells Anmol not to worry about the project and goes to call Pratibha for help. Pihu talks to one of her friends on the phone and asks for an ice cream party. Mahen walks in home and sees Pratibha lying down. He tells her that the guests will arrive soon and asks her whether she'll cook or if he should order some food from outside. Pratibha tells him not to worry because the food will be ready on time. She walks into the kitchen and cries. She thinks she has to get hold of herself because she has been Mahen's wife for the past 17 years and she is a mother therefore taking care of the home is her job now. Anmon walks into the kitchen and hugs Pratibha. She wipes her tears and asks him what happened. He says he's not feeling well so he is unable to complete his work. She touches his forehead and says she knows everything. He asks her why she's so worried and she says she's also unwell. She hugs him and cries.
Sunita's mother asks her whether she told everyone or not but Sunita says she can't risk leaving her room because Pratibha will ask her for help. Her mother asks her why she didn't show the picture to her mother in law.
Pratibha serves water to the guests and Mahen says they're all going inside and she should call them when the food is ready. He introduces them to Pratibha.
In the kitchen Pratibha prays and wishes for everything to be well until the guests leave while in the room Mahen speaks to the lawyer and tells him if his mother finds out about Pushpa then there will be a storm. The lawyer assures him that nothing will go wrong because he'll make Pushpa leave the city.
While serving them food, Pratibha feels dizzy but Mahen ignores it as the lawyer points out that Pratibha doesn't look well. Pratibha brings another bowl of food to the table but this time her body finally gives up as the bowl slips out of her hands and she falls to the floor unconscious. Mahen and everyone else rush to her as he holds her in his arms.
PRECAP: Pratibha asks Mahen to be tension free because she took lemon and she doesn't need any medication. Pratibha stops as Mahen asks her why she took lemon when she's allergic to it.
