What about Manik?
what of him when he brutally crushed her dreams in Musicana?
What of him when he broke her trust?
What of him when he ruined a seventeen year old girl's naivety?
What of him when he left a black sore in the place where a heart used to be?
What of him when he sliced through her innocence in such a way it lost its knees?
What of him for taking her smiles?
Her mother's dreams?
Her first love.
Her capability of loving?
Her fireflies?
Did he not kill her too?
Did he not have a moment of humanity too?
Did he not err too?
Did he not break her trust on him?
But she forgave him. She did. Also because he realized, he apologized, he gave her himself, he introspected, he was as crushed as she was. He realized what being without her means. He realized how wrong he was. He realized the price you've to pay at times. He realized how he was so foolish to think he could be without her, and with that he promised, he mended her heart every second of the way.
and then? Returned her fireflies to her in the closing of a loop.
So why can't Nandini have her moment of doubt? Of complete humanity? Of being a seventeen year old girl traumatized and pressurized and manipulated? Of erring?
She'll win him back too. Like she realized sometimes pain is a part of love, love's not all gardens, he will too. He will realize the broad spectrum of trust, they'll find their way back to one another like they always do, every single time, even more mature. Just wait for it. They're on a learning curve my friend, a hyperbola >> U ofcourse there will be downhills, but they always and only lead upward, more distance covered.
The beauty and tragedy of humanity lies in its ability to err.
But then, to err is human.
To forgive, divine.
