Yash Raj Films this year is churning out movies every month. After super success of Dhoom 2, there has been regular flow of YRF movies, although most of them didn't reach even close to Dhoom 2 success. After Chak De India, another biggie to hit on screen on 12th October 2007 is Laaga Chunari Mein Daag - Journey Of A Woman (English: My Veil is Stained). Starring Abhishek Bachchan, Rani Mukherjee, Jaya Bachchan, Konkona Sen Sharma, Kunal Kapoor, Anupam Kher, Kirron Kher and Hema Malini in special appearance, Laaga Chunari Mein Daag is directed by Pradeep Sarkar (Parineeta fame).

As the title suggests, LCMD tells a story of Natasha (Rani Mukherjee) a small town Banares girl, who later becomes prostitute due to various circumstances. Though story of small town girl being transformed into call girl has been beaten to death in Bollywood, LCMD claims to show another facet of the life which have never been shown before in the cinema. As Pradeep Sarkar is well known for making good, sensible and decent movie the chances of movie turning into some sex sleaze holio polio - Juile is very less.
