difficult words today:
Niyati - destiny

Prarabdh - the accumulated karmas of our past life, that we have to fulfill in this birth

yes it's time...

Time for RUDRA to learn of his niyati

And his prarabdh - that being a Rakshak is what he was born for

And the Garuda chinha was a vardaan from the Almighty and not a curse as Rudra believed

the scene where rudra learns of the significance of Garuda chinha, was well done

To take in and accept information that was so huge, Rudra took surprisingly little time. But then he has always been that way, stoic in the face of biggest of things that have happened to him!

Specially impactful was the part where Shiva shows rudra that the chinha can't be burnt away.

But the real scene of the day was the reunion of Dadi and shiva

They were hesitant, yet eager, awkward yet warm, happy to be together, yet with a distance between

For them as if the 24 years had never happened, and they were back where they had left off...

I loved their tentative, stilted hug, I loved the argument soon after, I loved the composed way in which

Shiva met Sahdev, Rudra is so like him - undemonstrative!

So there are 7 nagas, for the 7 Garudas - they are enemies as per our mythology also,

So it's fitting that nagas have been ready and waiting for Mahakumbh when all the 7 Garudas will come together and use it as a perfect opportunity for revenge!

An interesting point - Nanu was wearing his fake bandages again in the presence of his mouni guru!

The precap was again exciting, it was for the whole of next week I suppose and not just Monday

It was a superlative week, and each day was very different from the previous one

We had the techno gizmo day

We had the highly emotional day

We had the day of seperation

The day of reunion

THe day of losing and finding again,...

This week not a single dull moment !!!!!

Today was a mellow episode

Gentle and smooth and well made!

The nagas scene - had the right impact of mystery!

today's epi was a good episode, liked the sceane bitween rudra and shiva. it was an irony when balivesh was talking about how guru destroys the inner darknes of his shishyas, becaus he and his family are the beings of darkness and they spread only that only. i was not impressed by the intros of the nagas. anyway, ab saare parde girne waale hain, bohot hogayaa lukkaa chupi kaa khel, ab sab kuch khulle mein hogaa.

Thanks for the post Arshi. You've brought out all the points very well.
yes i too noticed and wondered why Nanu was having his bandages on. The Guru knows it all I'm sure, yet being a Guru will help his devotee. Good guys and bad guys must have faith. Nanu & Balivesh have the faith in their Guru (even if it is for their selfish needs) which Greyerson has none.

Daadi & Shivanand have faith in what they believe (to help mankind) and save the Amrit from being misused.

Loved Daadi-Shivanand reunion and the scene. Like you said they just back from where they left off. So Shivanand feels superior because of his knowledge and also being a Garud or wanted recognition. I couldn't quite what Daadi was telling.

Nagas getting trained and preparing for a battle with Garuds - nice scene. The Guru says something like when the Garuds are emotionally weak the nagas will strike and win over them..

Looks like slowly everything is being revealed. Shivanand's explanation about their destiny, finally someone to guide Rudra about things he needs to know and learn.

Loved the scene between Daadi and her son. No emotional atyachaar, only strong emotions subtly conveyed yet with a thread of sarcasm atleast in Daadi. Seems as if each believe their way is right.

The intro to Nagas was interesting. Overall a great week. Looking forward to the next week and how things and mysteries are going to further unfold. Looking at the precap looks as if war has been declared between the two panths. One representing evil and the other Faith. Naanu had an unholy gleam in his eyes while reading what his Guru had written. Looking forward to next week.

Yes looks like war between the two panths. so maybe what Daadi was trying to say was that Shivanand instead of following the tradition of seva and using the gift given by God to them (Kund), he was trying to prove his Panth to be superior.

Thanks Arshics for elaborate post.. you make the episode so easy to understand.

I look forward for your post!
Their reunion was so smooth, doesn't seems they were separated for 24 years.
I'm loving dadi character, she is very natural.
Nanu must have some deep reason to keep that bandage I wonder!
Seven Nagas are seems evil power who might unite with Balivesh group, just guessing!!
Not sure about the real story though!

Oh that maybe the reason. They are too busy finding out how to fight the Garuds, and do they care? Now with everything out in the open, they don't ned her na.

Episode was good. Dadi and shiva reunion But she leftno chance to taunt shiva lol she has right. . And finally nagas introduce. According to guru they stay in hills that means they are not like garudas who are living normal life. That means they has no connections with anyone or feelings like normal human. And garudas are bond with feelings and relations. I just wonder why there was no naagins among them. Naagin are more more dangerous form.
waiting for precap.

Nice take Arshics. The best part was Dadi-Shiva reunion. I am loving Sureka Sikri more and more. She exudes that subtle power in which she carries herself.
There is gentleness in her, still strictness, she knows she has power yet duty bound. She is well learnt, intuitive still does not want to prove anything to anyone. While her son is just opposite. He has superiority complex, he uses words like choosen one, sarva shrestha etc.. for himself and his clan. I mean for him knowledge needs to be with only choosen people and not for everyone. Whereas Dadi gives to everyone who are needy.
In a way both are wrong. Knowledge should not be constrained neither should it be given to everyone. Knowledge has to be given only to deserving people. And a learnt man knows how to choose deserving people beyond caste, creed, gender and nationality.
I would say showing nagas is also part of caste discrimination. I mean they are living in forests and caves like outcastes. Why. Why cant they be absorbed to normal society. If recognition is given to deserving among them will this distinction exists. They are showing 7 nagas equivalent to 7 garuds. Why those nagas has to be enemies to Garuds if they are exceptionally good.
Isnt this superiority complex of people like Shiva that makes 7 exceptionally good nagas a puppet in the hands of evil men like balivesh and co. Because of the recognition they need of their strength.
Remember Karna in MB. An exceptionally good warrior who is not allowed to participate in showcase of talent in front of the royal crowd due to his caste. What happens. An oppurtunitistic Shakuni uses him. By the time Karna realizes the truth of his birth it is far late in the game and he is loyalty bound. Imagine what would have happened if Karna was given his due in the royal court. Would a great war could be avoided. Yes it could have been, because with no one to counter Arjuna Duri and co would never take the risk.
MK I would say has lot of spiritual leanings and thought processes. Even the flag in the precap carries the message " Vasudevaika kudumbakam" means whole earth is one family.
And the nagas will be tamed at the right time by Rudra by giving them recognition is what I feel. Because the great snake Vasuki is Shiva's neck ornament as per mythology and the great snake Anantha is Vishnu's bed and is given equal prominence in great epics Ramayan and MB as Lord's brother. Lakshman in Ramayan and Balram in MB.
