Anirudh gave up all efforts to calm down his wife...the moment she come to know about Ridhima, she had been onto his nerves to find more information about her & now when he had provided her with information, Sudha's temper blew over the top...

Sudha"Didn't I warned!!...par aapne ek nahi suni...aapko who log ache lagte the...seedhe saade lagte the...but what a smart plan by them...Itna saalon se isliye chup baithe the...par ab seedhe apni beti ko bhej diya...Dev ko behkane ke liye, use phasane ke liye...who jante hai, ek mari hui aurat ki commitment is no proof of marriage...aur itne badi ameer family rishta unhe free mein mil gaya tha...how they cud miss the chance... what better than an innocent looking girl begging Dev not to ruin her life...

Anirudh"you are just over reacting Sudha, tumhe lagta hai Dev pagal hai? Who ladki kuch bhi kahegi aur who man lega...tum apne bte ko janti hoon...

Sudha"janti hoon, aur uski sabse badi kamzori bhi janti hoon...uska memory loss...(pissed off) he becomes gullible at times...

Anirudh(sarcastically)"dat makes us guilty too Sudha... (Sudha gave a surprised look) humne bhi toh usse jooth bola...

Sudha"hum maa baap hai uske Anirudh,...uski bhalai ke liye jooth bola...Being his parents we have right to protect him...his future.

Shruti & other two friends were waiting for Ridhi's explanation... they had caught her red handed, they don't mind Ridhi keeping her personal life private & not telling them anything about Dev...but they were worried for her not just because she was going around with Devraaj Rathore, a man beyond her reach...but most importantly she was getting involved with a man who has announced his engagement hardly 3 months back

Shruti (irritated)"are you out of your minds Ridhi...Do you realize tum kar kya rahi ho??

Ridhima (nodded in yes)"I do realize & I cant stop myself...

Shruti (pissed off)-- he is taking you for a ride...Just having Fun

Ridhima(interrupted)-- No, he is not...(paused) He is trying to get is memory back...

Shruti (interrupted)"come on Ridhi, give me a break...memory back through you...are you kidding??... He should be taking medical help for that, not use you... what common do you have with him anyway...& mind you its only 2 months tumhe yaha aaye hue, you trust him so much...afterall janti hi kitna ho use ??

Ridhi"not exactly!!!

Seeing Shruti's confused look...Ridhi took a deep breath & told her about her story...Shruti had a unbelievable look on her face as Ridhi completed to story...

Shruti (amazed)"And You want me to believe..tumne Dev ko yeh sab bataya...& "The Devraaj Rathore" ne tumhari is story pe believe karliya...He simply believed it...

Ridhi "who abhi kuch nahi janta, I mean maine abhi usse nahi bataya...He doesn't know who I am...

Shruti (amused)"aur madam kab batane ka plan kar rahi hain?? Like it happens in hindi films...Dev aur Megha ki shadi ke mandap mein filmy style mein bataogi "yeh shadi nahi ho sakti...Dev sirf mera hai" you think he will accept you then...

Ridhi had to control her laughter the way Shruti enacted...

Ridhima"I don't know how exactly I will tell Dev, but whenever the time comes he will know it from within...If we are meant to be together, then we two will definitely be...already he feels the connect somewhere & acceptance, acceptance is something we both have to agree upon...😊😊

Dev glanced at his watch its too late in night to discuss anything with his parents, talking & sorting out with Megha was far more easy than he expected...she had been sensible & understanding in taking the break off maturedly...She understood Dev's point of view. Infact Dev was amazed how sportingly Megha dealt with the break up.

Megha"Ab tak mujhe lagta tha tum sirf smart businessman ho...but when it comes to relationships you are smart too...(smiled) Acha hua tumne pehle sabkuch clear kardiya ...I wont deny ki humari sagai tootne ka mujhe dukh nahi hai...considering I was getting married to most eligible bachelor (Laughed) but still I'm happy for you...(teased) ab Shadi ke card mein toh mera naam nahi hoga, but I hope...Invitees list mein mera naam ho!! aur agar Nahi hua toh mind you...Main Ridhima ko tumse shadi karne ke liye mana kardungi...

As Anirudh feared, when Dev revealed news about breaking his engagement with Megha...Sudha blew the house...

Sudha"Are you out of your Heads Dev...😡😡 Tum Megha ko chodkar kisi aur se shadi karna chahte ho...& expect us to accept ur decision...Afterall us ladki ko jante hi kitna ho...sirf do mahine se...to top it all, do you think who humare lifestyle mein adjust karpaegi ?? Uski family aur humara status koi match nahi hai...Log kya kahenge, millionaire Singhania's ki beti ko chodkar ek simple accountant ki beti Ridhima Gupta Rathore's ki bahu banegi...Its impossible...

Dev (gave a puzzled look)"Aap Ridhima ka bare mein itna kaise janti hai?? Uski family, uske father ke bare mein... how do you know that?? (confused) Infact uska surname toh main bhi nahi janta tha??

Its was Sudha's turn to be zapped...she fumbled for the answer still composed herself...

Sudha -Dats not the point Dev, mujhe kaise pata hai kaise nahi its

Anirudh (interrupted) -Actually Dev I checked her official record...Ridhima ke bare mein tumhari Mom ko maine hi bataya hai...after she saw two of you talking at inauguration yesterday...she wanted to know about her...

Sudha"You were busy with her...even when Megha tumhare saath thi...apni fiance ko chodkar kisi aur ladki ko attention de rahe the... thankfully Megha didn't noticed & realised you were cheating her...

Dev (angry)"I care a damn even if she had noticed...as for Ridhima, uske bare mein aap log seedha mujhse pooch sakte the I wud have told you, main aap logo ko batane hi wala tha,...anyways, agar aap Ridhima se milna chahti hai toh I will bring her home today...but important baat yeh hai ki aapko pasand ho ya na ho... shadi Ridhima se hi hogi & dats final

Anirudh (before Sudha cud interfere)"ofcourse Dev, hum milna chahenge hum bhi toh dekhe tumhari choice...

Giving his final decision Dev just left from there...somewhere he felt bad his parents didn't trusted him... did he really cheated Megha...well if some private moments with her called cheating then yes, may be & to be very frank, he is not feeling guilty about it...now that he broke off the engagement.

Sudha"Aap bhi Dev ka saath de rahe hai??😕😡

Anirudh (angrily)"You don't want to lose your son forever?? Do You?? (Sudha gave a puzzled look) Sudha har rishte ki shuruaat Vishwaas se hoti hai...aur har rishta ka ant bhi Vishwaas ke tootne se hota hai...There should be honesty in all relations... (sighed) already hum Dev se bahut jooth bol chuke hai... Ridhima aur Dev ko humne door rakhne ki kitni koshish ki...par phir bhi kismet dono ko saath lekar aayi...Dev accident se pehle bhi Ridhima se shadi karne ko taiyaar tha, who Maa ke decision se khush tha...kahin na kahin anjaane mein hi sahi who Ridhima ko pasand karta tha...he trusted her...par humne usse sach chupaya, use unchahe rishte mein bandhna chaha...aur result kya hua?? Sudha, Dev-Megha's relationship was doomed from the very beginning, we forced him on...who toh tootna hi tha...just thank god it happened now than later...Apni khushi ke liye hum Dev ki khushiyan nahi rok sakte ...Come to think of it, Dev-Ridhima were meant to be...Sirf apne bte ke liye, Maan jao... may be after this he will forgive us for lying to him...

Ridhima was surprised when Dev's car blocked her way to bus stop, she was already getting late for office y'day she had bunked office, today she has to report duty on time ... She gave a tentative look to Dev, his tensed expressions worried her somewhere...still she sat quietly & waited for him to speak...but he just drove on...Where? She wondered?

Ridhima (in small voice)"ermm, I have to be in office in 15mins...

Dev (sternly) -I know... if you will be late main Mr.Verma se baat karlunga...

Ridhima (instantly)"No!! You wont!!

Dev (pissed off)"why not??

Ridhima(grumbled)"I don't like the idea...

Dev(angry)"will you stop cribbing?? If you don't want me talk...then call yourself & inform you are not coming...

Already Dev's mood was off with his argument with his mother...to add on, Megha's father blasted him off for breaking the engagement...inspite of Megha supporting him...still his father was not ready to accept ...

With each passing moment he was getting more irritated, Why no one is ready to listen, why no one is accepting what he wants to say or what he wants to do...& now, Ridhima too, more interested in going office when he wants to spend time with her...when he wants to talk to her..

Ridhima was taken aback by Dev's temper, wondering whats wrong with this man?? She sent msg to Shruti about her absence... as she finished Dev grabbed the phone from her, switched it off and put it in his jacket pocket...confusing Ridhima more...it was after almost an hour Dev stopped infront of his house before they cud get down Dev broke the silence

Dev (sighed) -I broke off my engagement

Ridhima (instantly)"Sorry to know?

Ridhima wondered is he angry because of that...is he sad??

Dev (frowned)"why are you Sorry??

Ridhima (confused)-- I shouldn't be?...felt it's the appropriate thing to say

Dev" You don't have to say appropriate things... (fumbled) I agree it happened because of you...I mean because I... (he decided to drop the topic as of now)

For once Dev was nervous he has never proposed to a girl before, with Megha it was more of a family decision then his...he laughed at himself on his nervousness...Ridhima was confused just a while ago he was angry, now he is laughing...Changing the topic Dev revealed about his break off with Megha, his argument with his mother...how they got to know about her...

Before entering the house, Dev warned Ridhima his mother may not be much welcoming...& asked her not to mind if his mother says something... Ridhima just gave him a assuring smile...she understood one thing that Dev still doesn't know who she is, he still does not have any clue...his parents may have found everything about her but still hadn't revealed anything else to Dev...if he did not get his memory back, it should be someone else to inform him about their connection not her, in this short duration of knowing Dev Ridhima has realized that he does not like things to be made belief...even if she tries to tell him...how will she convince him??

She came out of the thots hearing Dev's voice asking the housekeeper about his parents...they are not been seen anywhere around...he tried their mobile but both are switched off...Thinking of trying it again later...meanwhile he takes Ridhima around the house and at last they reach his room...

Dev (smiled)"You know, had thought I will romance and court you, before we get married...

Ridhima (blushed)-- Are we getting married!! (walked a step back...seeing him walking towards her)

Dev (teased)"Aren't We? (moved a step more ahead)

Ridhima (giggled)"I don't remember being asked...(moved back again)

Dev (coming closer)"Ab poochna bhi padega??(Ridhima nods in yes) but I think, jis sawal ka jawaab pata ho...use poochne mein time waste nahi karna chaiye...(moving more closer making Ridhima hitting the bed behind & loosing her balance, bringing Dev down alongwith her since Dev was holding her) dat too when you are here, in my house, in my room, my bed...the thought itself is distracting... Distracting me from all good intentions I have...(moving more closer sealing her lips with his)

Constant ringing of Dev's cell woke him up...it took few minutes for him to get his orientation back he was having this wonderful feeling... at last everything seemed to be perfect...after he lost his memory its first time he felt the calmness & a settling warm feeling...It was like Ridhima had been the missing piece in his life... his other perfect half he had been looking for & was expecting all these years...

Before making love to her...he had whispered in her ears the question she was waiting to hear "will you marry me"...

Ignoring the call he looked around for her but was surprised not to find Ridhima anywhere...he called out her name but on getting no response thought of calling her but as moved his hand he was surprised to find a familiar chain in his hand...he remembers it seeing Ridhima wearing it in her wrist, everytime he tried asking it she diverted his queries...but now looking at it closely he cud see his initials on the chain...which surprised him...its then, the thoughts came flooding in...he got his past flashes once again but this time not as blurry like always ...

His dadi sick, asking to send for Ridhi, the small girl...asking two of them to sit near her, Dadi asking him to give this same chain to Ridhi, then slumping on their joint hands... the memories were flooding him his time spent with his Dadi, the house in jaipur...her interactions with little Ridhi, the always nervous girl...who used to be always clumsy...He smiled realizing, he had called her clumsy on her first meet in office...He Recollected Dadi's words "tum dono humesha saath rehna...You two are perfect together"...

Instinctively, getting dressed he rushed down to his study for the secret locker whose very existence he had forgotten, opening the locker took out the papers of Jaipur's house with joint ownership of him & Ridhi... He recollects his Dadi made him sign them & asked him to make sure he gives Ridhi equal ownership when she turns 18...which has been the main reason, why his Dad wasn't able to sell off the Jaipur house till now, as he never found out its papers...Now everything was falling into place...why he felt connected to Ridhi all these months...

He tried calling Ridhi once again only to be greeted by automated voicemail...grabbing the keys rushed to Ridhi's hostel...only to be informed by Shruti that Ridhi left for jaipur as tomorrow is important day for her...Realising the day tomorrow Dev smiled...how cudn't he guessed it...

Ridhima silently entered the Rathore's house next door...every year she makes sure on Dadi's barsi to have a special pooja...ensuring her parents never got to know about it...she mentally cursed herself for being late, being exhausted from long train journey she got late in waking up...as she moved towards the kitchen, only to get startled on hearing some noise from the kitchen...she was about to shout when she heard a voice...the voice she can recognize even in her sleep...

Dev"Aren't you late?? But still on time to have my special coffee...(passing her the cup) here you go....(seeing Ridhi giving him confused looks) Waise mujhe bata deti tumhe dadi ki barsi ke liye yaha aana hai...main le aata tumhe...(Ridhi who was in process of holding coffee mug was about to drop it) careful, clumsy girl!! (teased)

Ridhi stared at him in daze...she thought its still her dream...it took her a moment to realize that Dev remembers, he remembers dadi's barsi...dat means His memory is back...

Dev(teased)"what?? Now stop staring...bahut kaam hai, pooja ki taiyaari bhi karni hai...already its been too late ...the sooner it gets over sooner I will be able to return back...

Ridhima was confused he is just back for Dadi's barsi...he will just go back, doesn't he remember anything else, about her, about their relation...will he not meet her parents...

Ridhima "aapko aur koi kaam nahi hai yahan??

Dev (hid his amusement)"aur koi kaam? I don't think so...(pretended to think) bas Dadi ki barsi thi, isliye jaldi mein...sab kaam chodkar aana pada...

Ridhima (sulked)"matlab aur kuch yaad nahi aaya...fine!! Main pooja ke liye pandit ji ko bulakar lati hoon...(turned to go)since you have to go back soon

Dev (catching her wrist)"Now dat you are calling the pandit...dat wud be great, aaj hi unse shadi ki date bhi pooch lenge...or if you want to get married on today itself I dont mind... 😛

Ridhi turned back at him in surprise...she cud make out he was struggling not to laugh...when he cudn't hold longer he cracked up laughing...Ridhima gaped at him... he was having fun teasing her...she smacked him on his arm...

Ridhima"bahut maza aata hai na mujhe darane mein...(smacked him) mujhe laga aapko kuch yaad nahi hai...How mean...

Dev (pulling her in his arms)"not as mean as you... aise bina bataye chali aayi... You almost gave me a heart attack...(tucking her hair behind her hair) come to think of it, mujhe yaad nahi aata toh??

Ridhima(biting her lip)"toh kya hota...I wud have simply went back...& wud have married you...(blushed) remember you proposed me and I accepted...

Dev--Even with my memory loss...

Ridhima (smiled)"Yes!! As Dadi said we two are meant to be together...

Dev -Humesha!!! (pulled her closer for the kiss)
