Talking about Anita/Shagun here. She looks great even in a kanjivaram saree. Not that those sarees are not nice but are a little plain compared to her usual designers.

Pure Kanjeevaram sarees are silk sarees with the borders woven with silver and gold. Our grandmother sarees were so rich that once the saree a were old they could give the borders to goldsmith, they could extract silver out of it, completely hand weaved. These days it's also toned down to make simple sarees and not pure Kanjeevaram for affordability

It might not look bling bling like designer sarees..but I disagree it's just a simple saree. It's not a day to day wear...

wow I did not know that! Amazing fact. I'm a Bengali so we don't really wear much kanjivaram. But anyway I just meant that Shagun looks great in anything she wears.

😊 i do agree she does look good. My heavy pure Kanjeevaram saree was bought only during my wedding time. I love those sarees so..just thought will reply.
