Balveer was going crazy in the grand festival Baldev held for
him, rides, clown, puppet show, ice cream stalls, lots of toys
and games, heaven on earth for a child his age, all the kids
of the village were having great fun and even adults enjoyed
in their separate section.
Veera sat on a special seat like a queen and just stared at
people having fun, she was not allowed to move, she was
very annoyed and so she started eating to pass time, Baldev
came to her and was shocked.
Baldev; oye! e ki kar rahi he? inna kyun kha rhi he gubara
banna he ki?
Veera; (still food in her mouth) main bore ho rhi thi aur
menu bht bhook bhi lagi he to menu khane de Baldev, ja na
thodi aur chaat le k aa By God kinni wadhiya chaat he
Baldev; nhi oye, menu soni si voti chahiye, gada nhi, la de
menu bas bht hogya tera
Veera; pr menu bhookh lagi he bht sari plx khane de na
Baldev; kha chuki he tu bht bas ab nhi
Bansuri came to them.
Bansuri; ki hoya puttar
Baldev; beeji dekho na kabse inna khaye ja rhi he
Bansuri; koi nhi puttar esi halat me esa honda kabhi bht
bhook lagti he aur kabhi kuch khaya nhi jata, tu khane de
ise
Veera; thank you beeji, ja ab meri chaat le k aa
Baldev; lata hun maharani jee
He brought another plate for her and watched her eat.
Balveer came running to them.
Balveer; mom see i got so many gifts
Veera; aww my baby, acha tumne kuch khaya, ye lo roll kha
lo aapka favorite he na
Balveer; okay
he sat down and Veera helped him eat.
Balveer; dad mom ko bhi chalne do na wahan please there's
an awesome show there
Baldev; beta bachon ka program he tu hi dekh
Veera; Baldev please jaane de na
Baldev; wahan bht bheed he dhaka lag gya to, chen se betha
nhi jata ki? chup kr k baithi reh
Veera pulled a long face.
The carnival went on till 4pm and then on baldev's orders
everybody left, Balveer went home with bansuri and Balwant
but Veera and Baldev stayed. Baldev came to Veera after
making sure everybody was gone, even the guys attending
the stalls, Veera was still sad, he smiled and picked her up in
his arms.
Veera; ki kar rha he me chal skti hun
Baldev; kinni bhari he tu, kaha tha na inna mat kha
Veera; to kyun uthaya he? ab to sab chale gye na koi dhaka
nhi marega teri pregnant biwi ko
Baldev took her to the place where the children's section of
the carnival was
Veera; ki kr rha he?
Baldev; pind ke sab bachon ne to maze kr liye pr do reh gye
Veera; kon???
Baldev; ek balveer ka aane wala bhai ya behen
Veera; aur doosra?
Baldev; dusri tu! dusri baar maa ban rhi he pr he bilkul
bachi, kese mun phulaye bethi thi
Veera made a puppy dog face and then smiled.
Baldev; to bataiye konse thelle pe rukun?
Veera kissed his cheek.
Veera; mere babies ke papa boht cute hen
Baldev; wo to hai
Veera; wo game wale stall pr ruk na menu khelni he
Baldev carried her throughout the carnival stopping at
various stalls attending them, she was the customer and he
pretended to sell things, Veera was behaving like a little
excited girl and Baldev went through all of it for her
happiness, she played games and even when she didn't win
Baldev gave her the prize, she was unable to enjoy the rides
but as Baldev was carrying her all the time she enjoyed that
feeling too. It was the time for sunset and Baldev was tired
but he kept silent.
Veera; ghar chalen?
Baldev; teri marzi tera hogya ho to chalte hen
Veera; haan hogya
Baldev started walking towards their house
Veera; ruk...menu utar de tu thak gya hoga, paseene bhi aa
rhe hen tenu
Baldev put her down, Veera wiped his sweat with her
dupatta and gave him water to drink. Then she hugged him
tight
Veera; tu bht cute hai Baldev, dunya main koi kisi se itna
pyar nhi krta hoga jitna tu mujhse krta he
Her eyes were moist now and her voice heavy
Baldev; o kamli, jazbati mat ho, mere bache pe bura asar
padega, ab chalen
Veera; haan
They got back home Veera, all the things baldev got for
Veera were delivered by jaggi.
Balveer; dad aapne mom ko special gift diya, pura mela for
her only mujhe disturb krne k liye itne log
Veera laughed
Baldev fell on the sofa.
Baldev; menu maaf krde puttar, agli baar tenu bhi ye moqa
de dunga (he said panting)
Balveer; its okay dad me mazaq kr rha tha i enjoyed alot and
made friends too
Veera; tenu kis ne kaha tha menu uthaye rakhne ko, main
maalish krdun?
Baldev; nhi tu aram kr me theek hun
Veera; Baldev tu itni zid kyun krta he, maalish krne se menu
kuch nhi hoga, me tail garm kr k laati hun.
She did his massage with the oil and he relaxed.
Veera; I love you
Baldev; I love you too.
they smiled and hugged each other.
