I feel it's a combination of luck, less ambition, doing ONLY what she wanted to & the privilege & burden of coming from an extremely illustrious family.

Soha simply CANNOT play the BW game. She lacks the cut-throat, deep, psychotic ambition that all top BW actresses just have to display. She has a very very illustrious education & family & has never felt the need to venture beyond that.

I don't think her nose is scary or any part of her is. She's beautiful, very intelligent, extremely articulate & I can see why people would find that scary. She's too good to be a BW actress.

She's not that great of an actress. I mean even in Tum Mle--it was suppose to be a romantic drama but it was so hard to like her character. Plus, she doesn't have the wow factor. I think she could have still done some quirky roles but she's not so great with comedy, not a great dancer, not drop dead gorgeous and no big star appeal. Not that I think about it, Saif also doesn't have the brand name, star power like the other leading heroes and Khans do. He started with supporting roles and finally made a niche with off-beat solo films. Neither one really had a big launch or a big hype around them from the start.
