YOUR DEBUT really has to do a lot with it. how you are launched, Most top actresses get launched with big stars, or great Production houses.

Soha's first movie was Dil Maange More, Shahid wasn't a superstar back then. That movie also flopped, and the star of the movie was really Ayesha Takia. So it really sucked for her.

But managing to do movies for 10 years after a flop movie is commendable. And she is better than today's starlets like Sonam, even Pari and Alia. 😲

Luck also has a lot to do with it.

It is quite easy to bad mouth her as was done was some one here but the truth is she acted well as evident by films like RDB, sahib biwi aur gulam 2

Luck plays a huge hand in your career if you are an actor/actress. I'm not trying to say talent doesn't matter (though some of Bollywood's "successful" actors are proving me wrong) or that good looks don't matter either (again, some have proved me wrong) but lady luck plays a part as well. I think at the end of the day Suha Ali Khan was just unlucky to a large extent.

Other than RDB I can't even name any of her other films. I'm not even sure if she did anything with a well known co star. So it does seem like she made some bad choices as well. In the last few years I would hear of her when a Patudi family event was happening. Her father's death, Saif's marriage, her mother's appearances etc.

lol...if anything she is not ugly.

She doesn't have the X-factor. She is average to look at with average acting and dancing skills.
