Patakha Guddi vs. Baby Doll

Did you guys feel that Kanika Kapoor was deserving of the Best Female Playback award at many of the award shows? I think she won Stardust, Star Guild, and Filmfare (correct me if I am wrong on this please).

While I really did like the Baby Doll song, I didn't think the song was that amazing or the best song of the year.

I thought the song Patakha Guddi by Nooran sisters was far better than that. I was happy that they won at least the Screen award for it. I would have really liked to see them win the Filmfare too.

I am really not discrediting Kanika Kapoor. I quite like her singing.

What do you guys think? Do you think Baby Doll was just that awesome? Do you think someone other than Kanika Kapoor should have won (not necessarily Nooran sisters)?

I don't see the greatness of Patakka Guddi. The industry has a habit of praising/nominating A. R. Rahman for whatever he creates. I guess, they would have nominated him for the album of that Armaan Jain movie if it was Rahman's only work released in 2014.

No I definitely think Pathaka Ki Guddi was a better song. But Baby Doll has a catchier tone. And I am one of those people who think A R Rahman is the best. So take that as my bias if you well.

Baby Doll was easily last year's most popular song. It was definitely going to win.

Bollywood has a bad habit of liking everything associated with a good movie, just cuz people liked Alia's acting and the story the music AUTOMATICALLY becomes beter lol...Its just like 2-States winning Best Music LOL Huge W*F moment

Anyway, Baby Doll is wayyy better - catchy, feminine and more closer to todays music. Not to mention we actually get to see a real woman in the video and not some lame star kid who looks like a toddler.

Na in the midst of all the below average albums/ songs last year, Baby Doll was easily the most popular..Not surprising that Kanika won..

Pathaka Guddi became irritating very quickly

I liked many other songs...Naina for example. Sona Mohapatra is really underrated. She was good last year even in the Ambersariya song. Pataka Guddi was ok..nothing great.

Babydoll was awesome . I recall I saw a 8 year old do a solo to it few months back 😆 😆

Anyway it's all about the video . Baby doll had a cool sexy video . The Pathaka guddi was just some girl in a car on a trip . Infact the movie was about a f**king trip . I should skipped the movie and taken a trip myself 😆 😆
