Aakash Anjali scene on sat was symbolic at various levels. It was not only the peak of Everest they were discussing. They were also discussing indirectly their journey too.
They had reached so much near to the summit as part of the Rescue mission. Peak was visible but then they knew it is rescue mission and they have to turn back from there. Summit looked so tantalizing , so near yet so far because you never know when you will be able to reach this far next time.
Same was the condition of Aakash and Anjali's relation. They had taken a journey. Journey full of hurdles and danger. Yet together they had made it where they are. They learned many life's lessons, they understood their feelings, they accepted their feelings yet it seemed like their destiny was not be together. After travelling together, after knowing each other together instead of becoming one it looks like they are meant to go differnent way. Yes their destiny was also so near, yet so far.
What I loved in the whole scene was closing comments by Aakash. Though Anjali tells so near yet so far, Aakash tells together they will be able to conquer many more heights like this. There was definite optimism in him.
But it was a beautiful and well scripted scene. Thoughtful and full of beautiful messages.

Oh yes...:) They have shown this journey to Everest as a symbol of Akanjali's journey in love too...
tHE whole phase - from their meeting, to developing feelings , everything symbolises how long both of them have come. That scene and the dialogue was awesome. I remember Anjali telling Akash earlier- ''Bohut door jana hai na humein''... that dialogue came to be fulfilled with the scene, . Finally with the summit, they both will be liberated from the past hurdles , and come out to be stronger individuals in life and love...:)

Confession don't need 1 epi. 1 well crafed scene is enough to carry it in viewer's mind. Everest I don't expect any lovey-dovey romance. Romance in this serial was beautifully and aptly done. It no longer needs any lengthly dialogues, or balloons or songs to convey the feeling.
