Once again VD , great post ! You have covered it all actually there not much to add. Just a couple of things though, I saw a lot of people on the forum complaining that the story isn't moving , but actually I think the story has moved forward now than ever before and that too without any twists .
First :
The Alvira one was not really a secret, beautiful work from the CV's side , they kept giving us hints. The success of any suspense lies in the quality that the reader or the viewer in this case is actually able to guess the truth but is not certain of it. They gave us hints from the very beginning and thats the reason we were able to connect to it. The mind does become happy when its able to say "I knew it , I was right ! " Well played actually.
Second :
SaAz have realised that they are actually in a "relationship" , not only that , now that since they are so close , both physically 😉 and emotionally , they cannot hide behind the facade of care or anger anymore. All of the SaAz scenes except the fruit one were excellent this week. I personally couldn't digest the fruit eating scene as it was a bit OTT in my opinion.
Third :
Ok , I really wanted to finish with 2 points , but out of habit 😛 Aarzoo needs to realise that Sahir's life is not black and white like hers. He's had a really painful life so she has to give him space to open up. Direct questioning is not going to work ! Do men ever answer anything straight ?
She is insecure and her distress is understandable especially when she says "Hum yahan kya car rage hain" , that feeling is so real.
What she should do instead of playing black and white , she should play grey. The sketch book was a perfect example. Now Sahir knows that she has seen the sketch book.He can put 2 and 2 together , first question about Zeenath and second about his sketch book 😆. She should have not asked , just let it be there and maybe next day when she was getting his clothes for him pretend as if it fell out , when he is there. Now , he will not be able to deny that it is his and he will also have to talk about Zeenath. But Aarzoo is Aarzoo and its always easier to tell this when you are a third person 😉
The episodes this week had a lot of continuity , flow and pace. Scenes were not abrupt either in the way they started or ended. Editing can be better but it has certainly improved. 👏
What is missing though is the way Aarzoo never communicates with anyone else. Why can't they have a scene when Sahir walks in on her and she is actually on the phone with her mother or sisters ? Its not as if since her mother left her family doesn't exist anymore. Simple things like this can add a lot of value to the show.
Looking forward to an interesting week ahead !
