HOW do you come up with a ISHRA exchange thats so bloody close to real...??
This is sheer genius, I think you bring out the essence of this couple in the truest form...

I wish you would make her pregnant in your other tale waiting for reader response, and NOT make a sob story... real life is too harsh and unwelcoming... fiction should always be promising and give hope...PLUS... 'tis the Season of hope...
I want you to essay her pregnancy, I want to read how he reacts, how she feels about being so astoundingly lucky... you can have them fight and argue and make up (sure... generous dose of making out)😳😳 I watch YHM just for that..., yep... totally shallow and immature... I know...😉

BUT PLEASE CONTINUE

You are immensely talented and have a natural flair for writing... nothing seems forced or cliched...👏

Forget med school... THIS IS IT kiddo...😃

You made me blush. 😆

Thanks! I love writing banter - I'm the banter sort of person in real life, so it comes easier to me.

As for the With You continuation - I'm a very very happy person in real life. I don't even read classic British literature, because it usually ends in ways I hate. But melancholy has its own charm, doesn't it? Which is why I wrote this piece in the first place. I want to write a happy part to it because reading and writing is always an escape from reality for me but somehow it feels like I'm doing injustice to the part I've already written.

Anyway, I have started writing a little drabble into the last months of a possible pregnancy, but I don't know if I'll put it here in the future.

Hahahaha. You would have gotten well with my Language and Literature Composition teachers.🤣 My parents would have a cardiac arrest. Lol. I like Medicine though - it's so harsh and yet so soothing - makes it worth studying so hard. My AP English teachers from junior and senior year in high school almost passed out when I refused to apply to colleges for majoring in English.

For me, I think I write well when I feel more and think less. Both fiction and non fiction. I can BS my way through an essay I hate and still get a high A (Valedictorian that I am) - but it's not fun at all! Which is why I'm stuck on the future storyline of the OS.

A huge thank you to you though! I love reading your comments - which is why you should comment on With You as I haven't seen one there.😆

Meloncholy has its charm AS LONG as it happens to other people in books... not fun at all when it happens to you😭
I could have easily guessed you must be a veledictorian, its quite evident with the way you write...
I cannot unfortunately read fiction thats written in bad English😭 A HUGE failing I know...
I cannot read fiction written in bad Hindi or bad Tamil either so I guess the affliction transcends languages😆
I LOVED yours PRIMARILY for that reason...
Medicine harsh and soothing huh? NOW that sounds like poetry...👏
I would read ANYTHING YOU write, you have me SOLD... it happens very rarely but yes...

Youve disappointed your English teachers, but please dont disappoint us...

You never know if WRITING is destined to be your career, you might end up writing poetic prescriptions or become one of those rare brainiacs in Bollywood...
For some reason Imitiaz comes to mind, and Shekar Kapur😳

Nene, One of the first managers I had in Finance had an undergrad in MUSIC. The SMARTEST finance brain I have met in life...
Will definitely write my thoughts on the other tale today

I want to write books after I retire and stuff. You know, achieve things that I've always wanted to and then move to some place quiet like Siena (I absolutely loved it there) and write books or something on those lines. My past English teacher did that.

You flatter me - I have read from much better writers on IF itself - a lot of them are my friends! But, who doesn't like flattery, right? So, I'll keep it.😆

And I like talking about my past grades, because I don't believe I'll ever get that honor again!🤣Sad, but extremely true.

I hate badly written English. Period. I'm the sort of person who writes grammatically correct texts with the whole punctuation to go with it. It bugs me otherwise.😳
As for Medicine - yeah, it came out well for some reason. I almost threw up the first day, but that feeling of being worthwhile after the whole almost ten years of work is special. Makes you go through these hellish days in school!

P.S: You're Tamilian?

Feel free to talk about your grades, its the greatest endorsement of what we have achieved as mere mortals you know... not all of us can be Malala Yusufzai right?

We can only talk about our other mundane academic achievements I do it all the time... so dont be shy😃

Med School education in the US is one of the toughest I hear, a friend's daughter put in a dozen years already and still not done I am told...monetarily and academically its not an easy mission to undertake

Good for you, you have what it takes to become one...

My kid's Pediatrician said once "It SOUNDS very good to say I want to grow up and be a Doctor. 99 out of 100 kids dont have what it takes, dont even know what it MEANS. COMPREHENDING it is half the challenge..."

Yep, an Iyer from Dil waalon ki shaan Dilli😉

@ Nisha: I'm not in the US 😆. I studied in an American School in Italy and now live elsewhere. My father's job is erratic 😳
Getting in Med School in the States is even harder if you're an international student. According to my college counselor, the acceptance rate is three percent. Which idiot would want to go through four years of undergraduation and then not know and possibly not enter med school at all? It's stupid.

From personal experience - India needs not an entrance exam but rather interviews of the children going into Medicine. Most of the kids I know from the schools there can't even converse properly. WTH are they going to ask their patients?! Most of them are book smart and stupid when they actually start doing stuff.😳

I'm a Nair from Delhi too. We're sorta neighbors.😆

Even if I don't post the thing from the future, I'll PM it to you. You made my day :)

This was so emotional and intense. Yet it provided a strange calmness to the soul.
A calmness which only unselfish love can provide
The choice that was made by him and the reason she accepted it was brilliant and shows what true love can do
and his Dont Go!.. made me weep..
Again stunning writing. One of the best I've read on IF.

Love, S
