FANS OF KOREAN/TAIWANESE DRAMAS *_*

Don't know if I'm going against the rule of this section by raising such liberal topic but as I got to run through ancient topics, I saw that members can freely come up with random and casual topics so there I am ^-^ !

A petite presentation 😆 : I am Tenzin, and I am a big fan of Asian dramas specially of Taiwanese and Korean as mentioned in the Topic (I kinda make a big jump between my presentation and passion LOLZ 😆 But there is nothing much to say about me :p). I love both of genres for their often atypical plots and banal concepts, comedy and specially the eccentricity in that, which kinda transmit in you a joy of living, a cheer of happiness or something like that I can't accurately explain that produced phenomena 😆 But that's not always like that ! They often make you cry an ocean coz of the unfortunate events that touched the characters, which made you laugh, and recognize yourself through them, so you're affected ! But that's also the subtile way of showing a sad and break down scene by keeping viewers in contact with the innocence and childish nature of the character and the way it apprehend that misfortune that would make it more saddening or touching ! And here I came to see if the fellow members of forum do share the same like and passion as me for those Asian dishes ^.^

Do tell me ! And please share without hesitation your experiences, first crushes that made you hook in these crazy dramas and may also suggest us some 'MUST SEE' 😛


For me, my actual 'MUST SEE' that I am suggesting for you guys is the Taiwanese drama : "CALLING LOVE' (Just that title, not to confound with nearly same titles of other dramas such as 'CALLING for LOVE', it's just 'CALLING LOVE' and the lead actor of this drama is the kawai(cute) fellow whose portrait is on my DP ) And if you're heading for the adventure, do not forget to take a tissue box 😭 Reassuring you, there won't only be sad scenes ! This drama is a mixed of comedy and romance so for sure, you gonna spend a good time :)

M also a big fan of Kdramas. My sole reason of entering in KShows was an Indian show which is said to be inspired by a Korean show and Lee Min Ho kinda further made me into them.. now m only hooked to Kshows.

Didn't know that India Forum had a corner for Asian dramas, will definetly give a look 😳 Can you give me the name of that Indian show supposed to be a new version of Korean's ? I kinda think it's the youth tele-show 'Kaisi yeh yaariyan' ? Isn't it ? Lee Min Ho 🤔 Let me have a look of this fellow and see if I can include him among my top 10 😎 😈 +1, his name seem familiar to me - 1, he seems to be a Korean and not a Taiwanese actor, I got my little preference 🤡 Then will see you there on some of days 😉

I got to hear about the show but I didn't really try nor got an urge to get into it 😆 Just the title giving me already a nausea :"Boys over flowers", looks so bland and lack of flavor ! But when I saw his pic, I recognized him ! But Pupu, I think you really should give a try on one of these days to a Taiwanese Drama, coz Kpops are good but Taiwanese dramas really have their own charm too ^.^ ! I have already watched 'my love from the star', I so loved Kim so Hyun and Jeon ji Hyeon, they made me laugh, cry, drool and ecstatic, such a cute pair ! Unfortunately Jeon ji is married ! But none says such thing about Kim So Hyun, so 😉 ? I am more into Taiwanese dramas, coz I adore their banal and zany concepts ! Leads are often hot, storyline may hide some unexpected climax and turns ! For now, I am into an old Taiwanese drama, which was averagely claimed, not that popular and acclaimed but I wanted to give a try and I did well ! Lee Wei, the lead hero is just Most of the time, he used to play second roles, such as rival of lover type, antagonist but that was his first lead role ! It wasn't the love at first sight between him and me but as he started to act, I succumbed completely ! Floored ! He isn't that much type of handsome hunk but he is really irresistible ! He has got a kind of trait in him that had me in trance ! His pulpous lips 🤪 OK 😆 So the drama is called 'CALLING LOVE' (only that, not to confound with the nearly same titles of other dramas, such as 'CALLING for LOVE', it's just CALLING LOVE ! )
