My favorite character aka Raman Puttar let me down big time today 😭

I wanted to smack him for trusting Shagun in a jiffy. I loved Karan and Abhay Ji's acting it was amazing- the confusion, dilemma, hurt, hesitation, guilt everything was there but still there was honesty missing from Raman's side. And the scene was a reflection of what Shagun had done years back. Raman fell for it them and he fell for it now and that left a bad taste in my mouth 🤢

Remember the FB Sequence where Shagun sheds her crocodile tears and Raman ends up arguing with Bhalla Ji who was being questioned for using the car to go buy meds for Mrs. Bhalla? Raman just sided up with Shagun without dwelling deeper into the matter...He was not disrespectful or rude but the way he reacted and the stand he took was was the beginning of the cracks forming in the father-son relation.

Today a similar thing happened. Shagun said something and Raman immediately took action
. Raman should have analyzed the matter which he did not. The moment Shagun left the office Raman goes 'Pehli baar Shagun sahi keh rahi hai (First Blow ) Appa ko yeh saari baat Ishita ko nahi batani chahiye tha (Second Blow ) ". It meant he believed right away what Shagun said. To see Raman believing Shagun instantly when he himself calls her drama queen and knows what she is capable of and what all tales she can spin was gut-wrenching.

aRaman should have talked with Ishita found out what she had said or done instead of assuming things and then handled the situation. I did not LIKE what I saw one bit it was highly disturbing.I really felt bad for Appa, that scene kinda made me feel low😭 (Abhay Ji was brilliant her...the lost and hurt look was beautifully portrayed)

Raman can feel guilty all he wants but what he did was wrong. Under any other circumstances I would have given him the benefit of the doubt but this is Shagun we are talking about and Raman knows better.

Romi is falling for Shagun's words and if by any chance he puts his thoughts and fears into action then it will be Appa who will be accused of theft.
At this point I wouldn't be surprised if Shagun deliberately keeps money in the Iyer House framing Appa further.

But what is to be seen is will Raman fall for Shagun's trick or will he staunchly without faltering one bit stand by Appa. Even the smallest of wrong word or gesture or expression will make things nasty 😡. So I really hope unlike how it was with Bhalla Ji in the past Raman truly stands up against Shagun not giving her even a needle space to point fingers at Appa or create drama related to it.

It would be great to see Raman stand by Appa even if there is evidence planted against him. That would bring the RAMAN KUMAR BHALLA we know to the fore...And no I don't want unwanted drama this time where he lets Shagun have her fill before giving her the final blow (Like during the Param track ) but since YHM is treading on the OTT drama these days expecting anything otherwise is futile 😭

Couldn't have said it better myself...I wanted to smash things for that excuse of a scene 🤢

Shagun ne bola aur Raman ne maan liye? HOW...How could he...A little bit of thinking, a little bit digging to find out what it is because the person saying all this was Shagun is one thing I expected from Shagun irrespective of all he has been doing for the past so many weeks...but nope...It was such a let down moment though Karan and Abhay Bhargava Ji was spectacular...Couldn't enjoy the moment because my anger towards Raman and hatred towards Shagun owerpowered me 😡

My eyes were wide-open with Shock...How could Raman just come to the conclusion that Appa had divulged such matters to Ishita? Fine lets say that Appa and Raman are not very close phir bhi agreeing to Shagun rightaway was like seeing a new show and a new character altogether. Raman being blind when it comes to Adi..I get...what was his excuse to be the jerk he was today when he concluded that Appa had done this.

The pic you posted I just saw that episode 2-3 days back and was furious at Raman even then...But during that time he was madly in love with Shagun to see past her crocodile tears and indirect accusations but today that is not the case...Raman taking Shagun's word against a faith-belief in Appa was a low blow

No comments...Appa's hurt brought tears to my eyes. Shagun is really harmful for Raman...He Can't think straight or do anything when she is around because she gets away with her game and he allows it...#Disappointment

Love this post... very well explained and the conrtast is so apt.
I am just going to copy/paste what I said in G's thread today, hope you don't mind :

COPY
Objectively we actually got a really nice episode today that looked at some of the major issues in different relationships within the show- especially to do with trust. Most all of the relationships depicted today show how a lack of trust, faltering of trust, invasion of trust, manipulation of trust and the questioning of trust can be detrimental to the relationship. In that regard the episode was a real game changer. Because trust is monumental in every relationship- not just spousal but parental, between close family and even to a certain extent between exes.

For ISHRA this is a test of their trust in a very minimal way, but the fact that Shagun is the one that rolled the dice has the potential to make it into a bigger matter. For me, Raman's questioning of Appah immediately upon Shagun executing her little ploy talks a lot of the kind of things that ISHRA still have to work on. Raman's belief of Shagun, despite his knowledge of her usual motives speaks to the trust he still has in her . I think this is more rooted in her not as a woman or former spouse but rather as as his children's mother... about the certain level of trust he has for her in that role.

His immediate call to Appah was an impulse that is based on the thread of trust that still remains on his part of her in that role... that which he can't rid himself of despite all she has done to break his trust and question his own blindness to her untrustworthiness in the past. Shagun knows that despite his words Raman is that guy and that's what she's exploiting. So once this all come to a head I hope that means a real introspective re-evaluation of his motives for trust in that relationship is shown. ... always hold out for a miracle from the Cvs right?😉

As for ISHRA , they've been through a lot but in each instance they have been very hesitant to trust each other with the problems at first. Thought their motives for hiding the issue is usually very selfless and protective, it always leads to huge MUs after which things always come out in a huge dramatic burst at the climax, upon which time they work together to resolve it (Adhi incident, Asia head etc ) quite easily...the difference between now and then is the undeniable though verbally unexpressed love between them.

IMHO love requires a a depth of trust that perhaps for them both is a little difficult considering the way they have each been burned when they have unquestionably handed it over to their partners in their past love stories. And maybe that's why this idiocy of Shagun's is a great thing for ISHRA - to force them to acknowledge that which is missing in this still fragile relationship of theirs so they can make it stronger and better and finally shake off yet another boulder which holds them each tied to their past relationships.

Both Raman and Ishita are in love, really in love- a mature and yet teenage mixed bag of crazy love, but in all this headiness of flirting and stolen moments they haven't really thought about building the kind of foundation needed for the longevity of their relationship. This will force them to face it head on. Note that I'm not not saying that there is no trust between them but simply that their trust is not on a very stable foundation... and they need to fix that.
PASTE

Additionally, I do think that Raman will not stand by when Appah is being humiliated. Shagun may be able to manipulate Raman to a certain extent but there is a lot about him that has changed since SHARAM were together and a huge part of that is his regard for Ishita and her family- especially Appah. The way the job offer came about, even the way the conversation about the privacy matter came about was as gentle as could be given the situation and I do believe that RKB will come jumping out in defines of his family(the Iyers) when they are humiliated. He has never been the kind of man who stands by and watches his family hurt, and I don't expect that to change... especially since Bala's mom will undoubtedly be present with her bad of verbal jabs as well.

No doubt the incident will be painful to watch, but it will bring an end to Shagun's game as it finally pushes the real RKB to come our of hiding... can't wait!

Not sure if that all makes sense but I hope you understand. 😊

#Keep Hope Alive

#Waiting for the real RKB

PS: Love that collage, love your collages always and your posts are always thought provoking. You are amazing... you so you know!😊

i actually liked that he talked to appa first... he kept the matter in the office. he didn't blame appa at all, maybe at first stance but it was because appa wasn't careful with the confidential files that word got out. If he was more careful, amma wouldn't have seen who wouldn't have talked to ishita who wouldn't have taunted shagun (in this manner) who wouldn't have caused THIS drama... I liked how he balanced his personal and professional relationship, because if he talked to ishita first, it would've blown way out of proportion (both getting to emotional with frustration and hurt)
but then again, that is my 2 cents

i already commented on this on lu thread...

in +ve side... this was the only sane scene to watch strday even ishra nokjhok didnt impressed me...

scene comment

raman knw himself he shouldnt talk to appa like that.. but
he just want everything to be fine.. knowing the truth of shaggun... im confused y he didnt had a convo with ishu.. or he dont want her to b sad or dnt want make a fight... wtever it was wrong move of raman... mainly ishu is his wife .. she have the full right to knw abt his expenses... y he doing so much on adi... he himself know its wrong.. then y... only bcz f adi goin away... making a child go in wrong path is the biggest crime the parents doing...
better rkb rises and puts a break to this expense...

im eagerly waiting for todays appa-amma-ishu confrontation

God tell me about it

Now when I look back I don't even know where I got the strength and patience to make this post. Raman's acting on Shagun's words when he knows better is what irked me.. I agree the scene could have been done way better...The screenplay could have been much crispier and logical but for the sake of drama we are all set to butcher an other wise bench mark show🤢
