Anushka Sharma finally cast opposite Salman Khan?

Anushka Sharma started off in the industry in a film opposite Shah Rukh Khan. As if that wasn't enough, her last offering PK' (2014) saw her share the screen with Aamir Khan. BizAsia has learnt that she may well complete the Khan hatrick soon and work with Salman Khan.

Although previously, reports suggested that Deepika Padukone could well bag the role, it is now being said that Sharma is favourite to star opposite Salman in Yash Raj Films' Sultan'.

Ali Abbas Zafar is going to be directing the film and no doubt if Sharma is finalised for the film, this will be a brand new pairing to hit the screens. An official announcement is yet to come.
