As RV came down Radhika is sitting in a chair playing with some thing, RV frowned "Your pooja over?" "Yup, but I am hungry"
RV chuuckled "Then get some break fast for both of us"
Radhika made a face "From where shall I order?"
RV frowned "you dont know how to cook?"
Radhika shrugged "Never had the necessity to learn"
RV gaped at her "If I recall, Shanthi and Amma both are not at home right"
Radhika nodded "Yup"
"then how did u eat, dont tell me u managed with take aways"
Radhika made a facee "I hate take away, Actually Dev's mom used to make food for me too. But after she and her husband left on a conference, Dev became the chef of the house. Doesn't hurt because he love to cook"
RV smiled "Now that mean I has to search for a Prince who knows cooking,kinda sound complicated"
Radhika grinned "Prince charming? Dont tell me you are planning to marry me of to some biggotted high prince."
RV shrugged "nothing less for RaghuVansh Princess"
Radhika glared at him "Plan that for Bharka. Don't involve me in such things"
RV smiled, but immediately got the serious look "Don't tell me you are loving some one"
Radhika looked at him sharply "For your kind info, I do love some one, and no I wont tell who he is, nor will I give you any details off him, for you to become a dumbass father and go a killing rampage on him."
RV became thought ful and spoke "Radhika did your mom never said you any thing concerning your marriage"
Radhika got confused and shook her head in negative, RV spoke uncertainly " I don't know exactly, but there was a childhood friend to your mom, he's like a surrogate brother to her and she once spoke to me something about some promise between them to marry of their children. I dont know who he is, but"
Radhika panicked listening to her father but controlled it "We doesn't know who he is, and he may not even have a guy who is elder than me. So lets see what happens. But I loved my guy for a long time, I won't leave him. And yup I dont even care if you agree or not. "
RV nodded "I know, but if guy is good, I am fine with who ever you choose. I will not force you into marriage"
Radhika sighed "I am hungry... I still have to go to college"
RV laughed " Go get ready, I will make some thing"
Radhika smiled "Wow father! now I am coming to undertand why Mum married you?"
RV shook his head "Go girl I too has to go to work"
Radhika became sober " I don't wanna go. I mean yesterday only news came also Bharka is in college only"
RV came and stood infront of her "Yes, it will be really bad right.."
Radhika almost exclaimed "Not bad, its worst!. I will not be surprised if Bharka try to kill me. She's posessive of you."
RV smiled " Radhika , Bharka is never posessive of me, she's posessive to be heiress of Raghuvansh dynasty. Make it clear to her that you are not interested to be one."
Radhika nodded " I am never interesrted to be Raghuvansh heiress, its bad enough I am heiress of Chandravansh dynasty. " she stopped speaking biting her tongue.
RV came to her " So you took mantle."
Radhika shrugged " I has to"
RV frowned "But heiress of Chandra Vansh was supposedly in existence since 7 years.. means..."
Radhika nodded "Yes, I has to take mantle immediately after moms death,because Charter didnt allow any one else. I am dealing with Chandra Vansh trust for last 7 yrs. But very few know its me. We have added advantage because we are a bit secretive, unlike your family"
RV nodded in understanding "Its happpy to know you are responsible, but that doesn't mean I like to see such an young child like you having that much responsibilities."
Raddhika smiled "I know"
RV tsked "Now go get ready. Fear gets us no where."

Radhika is with her phone in her hands while eating in sense, stuffing her break fast into her mouth "Haan baaba... I slept well, I am fine" She glared at RV wwho is trying to pile more food into her plate "Enough Baauji, I am already filled up" She resumed her call not listening RV's reply "I am eating, yes, Will meet you in college"
RV looked at Radhika mischeviously ""So"
Radhika looked at him questioning, he looked at her phone "Your Boyfriend?"
Radhika continued "Please be more specific, I has many friends in boys, but no boy friend."
"But yesterday night you said" RV asked confused
Radhika shrugged "He is my lover, you can say companion, not a boy friend. He is over 20 years so he is definitely not a boy,for all purposes he is a man, who will become your son in law if I had any say in it"
After that they continued their breakfast in absolute silence and Radhika came out , when RV asked her "Shall I drop you?" Radhika almost scowled " And let myself get more attention?"
RV laughed "Then how will you leave, " Radhika thought for a while and shrugged " I will get by bus"
RV looked at her as if she was mad "You know that your news was all over in todays news papers, front page"
Radhika sighed in defeat " I can manage"
RV asked her "Let me drop you, I have many enemies, who will want to injure you. "
Radhika thought for a while and shook her head "Nope, I can manage" Just then her phone rang and she ket speaker on "Hello Dev?"
"Hey, I dont think its safe for you to go by bus. Sandhya called me and informed me, how you are talk of college"
Radhika looked at RV who looked worried and scolded herself for turning the speaker on , she scowled and snapped "Then what do you suggest me to do, I will not miss college"
"I know that,thats why we have a plan. If its ok then I will pick you"
Before Radhik can even answer , RV spoke "Thank you beta, she will be at the appartments in fifteen minutes"
Dev was silent for a minute and spoke "Ok RV ji. I will wait for you Radhs"
Radhika disconnected the call and RV looked at her questioning to which she shrugged off... They both silently sat in car and while driving RV asked "Dev's a good guy you know"
Radhika glared at RV " What are you implying Ram Shankar saab"
RV chuuckled "I am asking if he is the guy you love"
Radhika remained silent while RV spoke again " Radhika, I am not against your relation ship Radhika. But you are the person who always lived as per yoour mom wishes, I don't want you to be in a dilemma."
Radhika nodded 'I understand, but i doesnt wanna ruin some thing I have now becausee of some thing I will face in future."
"What about Dev ?"
Radhhika gave a dry smile "If there's any one that can understand its Dev. He too has a lot to face though he doesn't know it yet"
RV scowled "Then how does you know?"
Radhika gave an interesting smirk " Just know that I know much more about Dev's family than Dev does"
RV looked at her in confusion 'Don't tell me he is some lost Prince. Hey is he Kshatriy or Brahmin atleast"
Raadhika shook her head smiling "Yes Mr.RamShankar ji, he suits me as much as you suit mumma.. in every way. Any way what are reactions of your family?"
RV became serious "I didn't contact them actually, my phone is switched off, and none knows of that house address"
Radhika looked at her father "Why?"
RV looked at her seriously " I already lost your mother, am not ready to loose you."
Radhika shook her head in disbelief, to which RV stopped driving and turned to her "I know you wont believe mee, but trust me Radhika, I love you and i care for you. I would rather be the father of my daughter than a rich family lord or a central minister. Screw Raghu vansh family!, screw royalty!, screw ministry! Ask me this instant I will leave every thing this instant and become normal Ram Shankar your father. "
Radhika wanted to cry with happiness that very minute, her wish is coming true, her father preferring too be her father above any thing. She just wanted to scream 'yes dad,I want you witth me away from all that hype' But she shook her head, she was always told by her mother that one should never neglect their duty, Radhika tookk a deep breath as she spoke " My mother left you so that you can fulfill your duty to your family. I was always told that duty comes first. I dont want you to loose your duty, but amongst that for a small time of your life every day, I want you to be my father. Can you?"
RV smiled at her and nodded "Thank you beta and yes"
With that between them , RV started to drive again and they reached Radhika's flat in five minutes where Dev was waiting for them , Radhika came out of car "Hey , does Pari and Nandu have their break fast andd left. They didn't make much of fuss na. " Dev gave her an amused look after which she stoppeed "Yes Radhika they ate,got ready quickly and left. Did you have a good night sleeep? You ate break fast na? Is every thing fine?" This time Radhhika gave him an amused look and he stopped. RV looking at their interaction chuckled and stepped towards them " I did take good care of my daughter Dev." Dev looked sheepish. RV smiled to them both and Radhika spoke a silent "Shall we leave."

As Radev reached college all of a sudden the watch man came rushing to them and opened the door for Radhika, and some four or five guards came to stand on either side of her, Radhika looked confused and asked watchman "kaaka, whats all this"
Watchman being surprised that Princess is talking to her spoke "Maam these are your protection guards"
Radhika almost screamed but stopped her self and asked in a dangerously low voice "Who sent you?"
The nearest guard answered her " Commisioner sir assigned us to you maam, considering your status"
Radhika controlling her irrritation " Thank you , but I truly doesn't neeed any protection. Please you people go back, there are much more important things for you people to do than protecting me. "
Guard hesitated "But Maam"
Radhika spoke in an even tonee " If you doesn't retreat now, that means you are questioning my protecting ability, that means you are questioning my families upbringing. Surely you don't want to question a Raj Brahmin family."
Guard nodded and bowed "Maam please inform commisioner saab. "
Radhika nodded in affirmative and they left. She relieved the sigh she's holding and turned to Dev " Atleast I hope teachers are not affected by this"
Dev chuckled, "If Dad is there, Dad would have controlled situation in faculty"
Radhika's eyes widened at this , she forgot about Harinatth and Chaya ji, she looked at Dev and asked "Did your father called you??"
Dev looked confused at abrupt change of topic but shook his head "nope, but as per mom they will be rreturning next week"
Radhika winced inwardly at that, Dev confused reached her "Hey what happened"
Radhika sighed " I dont wanna meet your parents, after this information. I am sure they will kill me "
Dev looked confused "Why they will kill you? I mean its just you are heiress of Raghu Vansh fammily, they will be elated if nothing else. Why will they kill you"
Radhika shook her head ' because I hid the truth from them' but outward she said " Nothing, I am being paranoid. Shall we leave to class"
Dev nodded and they walked to the class rroom but Radhika is anxious. She was getting antsy with all looks around her. Feeling Dev's hand on her wrist she looked at him and he gave an assuring smile to her, which made her relax a bit.
As they reached class room, Radhika tightened her grip on Dev's hand, which he too returned , on their way Sandhya also joined them and she being her bubbly self reassured Radhika that she will prank any one who annooy her. Finally they got into room and every one fell silent. Bharka came to them and Radhika closed her eyes with fear, but Bharka surprisingly hugged her " Why did you never say you are my long last sister"
Radhika looked at her shocked ," You never liked her na thats why. "
Bharka smiled at her, but one look at her smile Radhika saw that it didn't reach her eyes, Dev too observed that if his squeeze on her hand was anything to go by. Bharka took hold of Radhika's other hand and said "You my sis will sit with me today" She tried to drag her but Dev has hold of her other hand seeing this Bharka again smiled "I will not take away your friend Dev, I am just trying to reacquaint with my sister."
Radhika spoke uncertainly "But Bharka, I always sit in front row along with Dev, We can speak after classes na..."
Bharka thought for a while " If only you promise me to partner with me in Biochem lab"
Radhika nodded and Bharka skipped off to her place. Other than that rest of day went by normal till afternoon when she was called by Principal to which she went dreading. When she reached his office, door opened and Principal is smiling politely to her , "Aah, Princess Raghuvansh, get in."
Radhika didn't like the moniker at all "Please call me Radhika sir."
He beamed much more "What a modesty, its really a great character in people of your level. Any way I requested you to come here , to ask you a small favour."
Radhika's eye brow raised but she managed a confused expression "favour sir??"
"As you know next week we have our cultural day, and I already told Princess Raghuvansh, I mean Princess Bharka Raghuvansh to speak to Minister Raghuvansh about attending it as a chief guest. But she kept on skipping about it, what I want to know is if there is any chances of you convincing your father about it"
Radhika thought for a while and she asked " Sir May I have a small information. "
Principal beamed 'Yes Miss. Radhika"
Radhika spoke " Sir, Do you have information of when Prof.Hari Nath is returning?"
Principal shrugged " I was said that , he will be returning to Delhi one week later."
Radhika sighed in relief then he won't return to college atleast two days later, tat means RV won't see him. Radhika looked at Principal "Sir, I am not exactly at my best witth my father as you might already know from that media hype. But I will try my level best"
Principal nodded " Its ok Ms.Radhika, but can I hope to get a reply from you in four days"
Radhika smiled "I will try to get you the answer by tomorrow evening sir."
Principal beamed at her and she left. Still not daring to call Chaya , she called RB who immediately attended the call "Radhika, where are you, How are you beta. "
Radhika spoke in hushed tones "Relax RB, I am coompletely fine. Its a long story say short,it became all into knots what I believed all these years isn't true and now I am living with him"
RB made a gruntled sound "What the hell are you saying yaar?"
Radhika sighed "I kept every thing in a detailed mail for you to look at. See it we can speak in evening. Hows Chaya ji and Hari nath ji?"
RB rubbed his temples " Hari didn't know yet, since he's in pre operative care, operatiion and now in post operative care. Chaya is shocked, but since harinath's operation is major issue, she was a bit deviated"
Radhika grimaced understanding underlying message and spoke "If possible try not to tell Harinath ji about this and if its possible try to delay their return"
RB thought a while "But I think there's a college cultural day some thing like that right?"
"Exaactly ,guess whose the chiefguest is?"
"Who?"
"RV. So please RB"
RB was about to say some thing but her phone was snatched off from her and its Bharka , she's smiling which made Radhika unease "Bharka my phone?"
Bharka again gave that smile "Ohh Darling sister, you are not spending time with me at all. By the way whom you are speaking to your BF?"
Radhika was about to answer but another voice answered it "She's certainly not speaking to me , means she's not speaking to her BF. Any way don't you know snatching some one's phone is considered rude. "
Bharka turned back to see Dev moving past her and coming to stand beside Radhika, who gave him a small smile. Seeing this made Bharka's blood boil even more and she gave Radhika's phone back to her and spoke " Since your birthday is in five days , Dadimaa said to inform you that you will be crowned as Princess this birthday." Saying that she turned back and left.
Radhika processing her words gasped and cursed silently while Dev frowned " But your birthday is one month away?"
Radhika spoke " Thats as per solar calender, but apparently Raghuvanshi's still follow Lunar calender as per which my birthday is in five days. Guess I am screwed now."
Dev gave her a glance of sympathy , " I am sure we can get through this". Radhika smiled to him, holding his hands,They both shared a loving moment when they heard a voice behind them 'Are you both lover birds done?" They turned back to see a grinning Rohan and Radhika ran to him hugging him "Idiot, I missed you a lot, you know?"
Rohan smiled "Me too Princess, you always say you don't like it but you are truly becoming a Princess now. "
Radhika huffed " You know what, I am really tempted to give a runner to all of this"
Rohan gave a horrified expression "And with whom this Dev, why make him suffer man?" which earned him a slap on hand " I know you are a big idiot Rohi. Any way what about you, I heard that certain Purohith is being over friendly with certain Younger Bharadwaj sister"
Rohan giving her a look "Who told you?"
Radhika laughed "Don't worry Vish di told me. So whats going on haan?"
Rohan gave her a serene smile " She's really good and understand me a lot"
Radhika smiled back "God knows you need that. So love is in air?"
Rohan shrugged "I don't know. "
Radhika nodded her head in empathy "I can understand, but I feel sorry for Bharka"
Rohan looked at her in confusion "What Bharka?"
Radhika looked at him in shock "Your marriage, remember the deal between RP ji and RV's mom?"
Rohan grinned "That deal won't apply to me nor does it to Bharka... You are doomed darling"
Radhika looked at him doubtfully "Tell me the wording of that deal clearlly Rohan"
Dev piped in with interest "What deal?"
Rohan answered "Theres a deal between my grand father and Radhika's grandmother regarding some marriage alliance, and for Radh's info here wording goes this way... The marriage alliance is between heirs of Raghuvansh Dynasty and Purohith family. All this time me and Bharka are considered defacto heirs of both families, but thats not the case since Radhika is eldest of her family making her heir, and Purohith's family grimoire says that it will always the youngest son of the family that will be heir, since I am not the youngest I am not the one. With Raghuvansh's true heir resurfacing, Dadaji doesn't wanna risk with this defacto heir business. so its Radhika who is doomed with an unknown guy,because failure to comply with treaty will have serious troubles. " Devv became angry with is while Radhika remained calm making Rohan confused .Radhika started laughing all of a sudden making Rohan worrry much more while Dev looked at her in confusion, at same time worried, Radhika looked at them both directly and spoke "Its always me isn't it. How many alliances will I have man?? Are they considering me like some doll or what?"
Rohan understanding a little bit asked her 'What is the other one Radhika"
Radhika by now has tears in her eyes "RV ji told me this morning, apparently mumma has a best friend whom she also used to consider as surrogate brother and they both made a promise that they will marry their children to one other. In the last it will always be me right Rohan. Why can't I have a normal life for once?"She started to shed silent tears when she was hugged from side by Dev who spoke " We will deal with what ever it takes, don't worry. I am sure your Kanha is not that bad to let us love each other this much only for us to get separate.I am sure there should be some explanation to all this."

Harinath looked at Chaya, after 48 hrs he came back into consciousness, he smiled to her and managed to speak with a rasped voice "I am fine."
Chaya sat beside him with tears of relief in her eyes, " Please promise me that you will not leave me."
Hari took her hand into his " I fought with death once for you , I will do it again if thats what I need to do."
Chaya wiping her tears off , smiled and Hari slowly looked at RB who is standing by side ,he signalled for him to come and when RB came to his bed side ,he asked him "I need to find her daughter. I need to find my sister's daughter . "
Chaya looked at him in confusion while RB nodded 'We will Hari, but you need to rest , I promise you by the end of this week you will see your daughter in law."
Hari asked him "You promise me"
RB nodded "I promise you in name of our sister"
Hari smiled and again went to sleep
Chaya understanding it now spoke " Rishikesh jeeju, I can't let this happen to my son. He is already in love."
RB spoke in a calm tone " There's a storm coming Chaya Bhabhi , I don't know how we will survive it. But many things of past are revealing back. I just hope all this pain will end."
Chaya looked at him questioning when RB spoke "RP ji is planning to activate the marriage alliance he made with your mother."
Chaya gasped " He is planning to get Radhika under control?"
RB looked solemn "He is planning to get Raghuvansh family under control , but..."
Chaya looked at him questioning "But?"

RB sighed "She took Chandra Vanshi manttle seven years back"
Chaya gaspeed, while RB looked at her sharply "You understand what this means doesn't you?"
Chaya nodded , "But Hari won't accept"
RB sighed "There's no chance, the true Purohith heir have to resurface"
