SuKK meet Neeti's mausi with 'roka shagun' for Neeti.. KK tells Neeti's mausi (Sush) that now its high time Sharman-Neeti get engaged.. Su says they've been in love and its time to formalise the relationship. Sush is happy and says that from the day they met Sharman, she had always wished Neeti finds a guy like Sharman..and her wish got fulfilled. KK tells her that until the wedding, Neeti is the Wadhwa's 'amanat' in her house.. Su says they want the engagement ceremony to take place as soon as possible.. Sush agrees and tells SuKK that they can ask the pandit and arrange for any day suitable to them.. Su asks for Neeti.. Sush tells him that since Neeti has taken up her new job, she has been busy and she worries coz career girls these days come home really late in the night.. KK tells Sush not to worry as Neeti is a sensible girl..and nothing will happen. Su tells KK they should leave now and give Sharman the news of his 'barbaadi'! KK is aghast and Su says 'aadmi ki shaadi uski aabaadi nahin..barbaadi hui'.. KK playfully hits him on that..
Sharman enters the house..and is surprised to see it all decorated. Wonders what is happening.. Whole family comes out shouting 'surprise'.. Su tells Sharman its a surprise for him..and that is, Neeti & his engagement! Sharman is excited..and says that now finally his & his Jhamku's 'setting' happened.. Su tells him to take the elders blessings.. All bless him for his future.. Dadaji asks everyone to give him their handprints on paper.. Dadi agrees that Dadaji's predictions came true for her.. Kul & Sukanya bua say Dadaji told them the opposite.. Dadaji says, just coz one prediction went wrong doesn't mean one doubts an astrologer..All give their handprints, except KK.. She tells Dadaji that one's destiny is already written..what has to happen will happen and such handprints are pointless. Just then Siya enters and congratulates Sharman.. Sharman tells Siya that he himself got to know of his engagement now..how did the news reach her? Siya tells Sharman that 'his newspaper..Neeti' called and gave her the good news.. Just then Sharman gets a call on his mobile..and he proudly announces that its 'his Jhamku' on line..and says now he has the license.. On hearing that, Su snatches his mobile and runs.. Sharman running behind Su.. Su passes on the phone to everyone (playing passing the parcel with Sharman's mobile) Dhruv sees all this..is happy..yet sad and leaves from there. Siya notices Dhruv leave..
Dhruv is in the terrace.. thinks to himself that a moment of happiness for one is sometimes a moment of sadness for another.. Dhruv recollects some of his happy moments with Antara..that slowly turned into a nightmare for him and his family. Just then Siya comes there and asks Dhruv if he is okay..if he is happy for Sharman-Neeti.. Dhruv says he's very happy but yet feels a vaccum..something he cannot explain. Siya says she understands what he is trying to say..
BREAK..
Dadaji is teasing Dadi with his astrology..complimenting her on her looks. Dadi tells Dadaji that his astrology is taking a toll on him.. Dadaji says that looking at the festive atmosphere, he too feels like getting married again.. Dadi says she will never make such a mistake in her life again.. Dadaji says such beautiful mistakes are always meant to be repeated.. Just then Su comes there and asks Dadaji to leave his astrology and go get dressed.. Su asks Dadi where is Sharman..
KK is in Sharman's room.. Sharman wonders what KK is upto.. KK says she is utarofying his nazar. Sharman wonders how KK can believe in such stuff.. KK says she usually doesn't believe in supersitions, but this was important.. KK sits by Sharman and tells him not long ago he used to catch hold of her hands and learnt to walk..today he is going on to hold someone's hand for a lifetime.. KK explains to Sharman that, when a girl gets married she leaves everything of her own, behind and starts a new life.. She too has expectations and as a guy, he should fulfill all those expectations.. Sharman tells KK that he has seen his parents relationship..and he will try his best to live upto it..all he needs is his mother's blessings. KK blesses him.. Just then Su enters and wonders what the mother-son are talking about.. Sharman tells Su that he is starting a new life and he knows his parents' blessings are with him.. Su tells Sharman he has got him something else as well..and takes out a box from his pocket which has the ring that Sharman will make Neeti wear.. Sharman asks Su for whom is the ring.. Su says he got it for Dhruv as he will make Neeti wear the ring na..duhh..obviously its for Sharman! Sharman thanks Su.. Su says a thanks is not enough and gives Sharman a hug! KK tells them she will leave them together as she too has to get ready..and tells Su to make sure Sharman gets ready too..
Siya enters Dhruv's room and finds him with a towel wrapped around.. Both are embarrased and Siya apologises to him. Siya wonders what the confusion is all about.. Dhruv says he can't decide what to wear for Sharman-Neeti's engagement. Siya tells him not to worry, as she will decide for him..takes out a kurta-pyjama for Dhruv and asks him to wear that.. Dhruv is happy with Siya's choice..except that the kurta does not have buttons on it.. Siya says she will sew some buttons onto it.. and in the process, both sense an attraction towards each other. KK passes by Dhruv's room and sees Dhruv-Siya together.. has a smile on her face and leaves..
BREAK..
Dadaji is taking Siya's handprints..and tells her that not only do her thoughts, but also her handprints are similar to KK's..and whichever house she gets married into will be like swarg. Su comes there and tells Dadaji that he will know if Siya's handprints are smiliar to KK's only if he got her handprints na..as KK never gave her handprints to Dadaji. Dadaji tells Su & Siya that KK never gave her handprints..yet he took them. Flashback scene : KK in the mandir..Dadaji comes there and tells her that its a ritual that daughters-in-law have to stamp their handprints on the wall of the house..as it brings good luck and prosperity. KK agrees.. Dadaji tells her to get off the excess colour on paper and then put then stamp her handprints on the wall.. Su & Siya are impressed with Dadaji's tactic..
Sharman..alone in his room, is practising how he will put the ring on Neeti's finger.. Sharman is nervous..but keeps telling himself not to get nervous.. Sharman keeps trying but fails to shake off the nervousness..his hands shaking. Sharman wishes he has a hand he can practise on.. Just then a hand comes forward..Sharman realises its Siya's hand.. Sharman tells Siya he is very nervous and doesn't even know which hand which finger does one put the ring on.. Siya asks him if he he has seen DDLJ where the heroine explains the significance and which finger the ring goes on.. Sharman asks if he can try it out on Siya.. Siya agrees.. Sharman slips the ring in Siya's finger.. Later Siya cannot remove the ring as its stuck.. Sharman asks her if the ring is stuck in her finger, what will he give Neeti.. Just then Dhruv enters and offers to get the ring off Siya's finger.. Dhruv-Siya just look at each other with a smile on their face..
PRECAP: Dadaji tells KK that he fears something bad is going to happen soon.. KK assures Dadaji that until she is there, all will be fine..
