SURYA and Ram-Sita- New promo- Very twisted CVs

I had said goodbye to the forum and the show. I have not seen the episode but watched the promo where the song compares SURYA- to Ram-Sita.

Many old members know I have been the one who started comparing SURYA to Ram-Sita from MP track and I was also the one who predicted the future tracks based on Ramayan. Infact I wrote an FF too based on that understanding though with a twist.

After seeing that promo I felt I need to make this post because I feel I owe it to myself as well as the people who have loved and appreciated my analysis to give a proper closure to that storyboard which I started.

First thing first. I am feeling very sad and in fact quite angry that Sooraj and Sandhya are compared to Ram and Sita. It was a different thing we assumed the links to Ramayan but the promo openly compares them to Ram-Sita so what RP is Ayodhya. Let us keep aside the avatar aspect of Ram-Sita and look at them as inspirational characters only in this post.

With the current storyline of whatever I have read, I have seen I feel it as an insult to Valmiki as well as the legendary characters of Ram-Sita to compare them to Sooraj and Sandhya. CVs should have thought 10 times before doing such a comparison with such a twisted tale and people to belive it just because Sooraj and Sandhya are gonna reunite

Let us take the character of Ram first. Yes Ram send away Sita hearing a dobby's word, hearing a question on her chastity. Yes I agree Ram was wrong there and I have my own analysis of how he had wronged Sita. But we need to understand that when Ram send Sita away though the whole royal palce respected his decision not a single person was happy and neither was Ram. It is said that Lakshman carries a huge burden in his heart as he loved and respected his bhabi like anything. In his heart each and everyone in the palace knew Sita was not wrong, she is the chastest lady. Ram himself knew it. Yes he was the king, but he never had a life post Sita's abandonment and even keeps Sita's golden idolduring Yajnas. Ram was a man torn between duty and love and somewhere across he chose duty over love. Remember Ram never accuses Sita. Ramayan at no point mentions an accusation by Ram on Sita's chastity. Ram very well knew why he did what he did. it was his decision.

Now let us take Sooraj and RP. Sooraj at first does mistake himself, then he blames Sandhya. The whole of RP blames Sandhya. Then Bhabo is needed to show Sooraj light and of course Chavi had to be torn out. Then he realizes he did a mistake to his wife. Great. So what CVs are trying to portray by comparing Sooraj to Ram. That Ram had done a mistake that too such a silly thing. That Ram was heartless enough to accuse his wife, shut the window on her face, behave rudely with her, that Ram needed his mom to see the light. And RP who is Lakshman and who is Kausalya. Did anybody miss Sandhya. They were all having a happy life. Which Ayodhya CVs are referring to.

Ok let me stop at Ram and then take Sita. A character I greatly admires. She was a woman with her own decisions. She is a great lady who argues with her husband on her rights as a wife and forces him to take her along with him for vanvaas. She is a fighter who fights with Raavan in the flight, gives the boon to Jadayu that he will be alive enough to give information about her to her husband. She is the courageous lady who refuses to go with Hanuman in the darkness of night and belives her husband will defeat Raavan and take her with full honour.

She is a woman of great self respect who once after being thrown out doesn't go back to Ayodhya but does her duty as a good queen and mother raising her sons in the most appropriate way. Her self respect is so strong that she refuses to give any more Agnipareeksha and ask Mother Earth to take her. In other words after being thrown out, after being her trust broken she refuses to go back as Ram's wife but at the same time does her duties of mother and queen perfectly.

Sandhya is she a match to the legendary lady of courage, love, patience and self respect embodied. She cant take one decision for herself. Everytime has to think whether question will be raised at her sanskaar. Can hide crime for the sake of the family. Self respect lesser said better. She does not have one. She is willing to fall at Bhabo's feet and do her bidding as long as she is allowed to stay in that mad house. Will take agnipareeksha's again and again, challenges again and again if it means she has to be married and stay in RP for the sake of her so called Sanskaar. What are CVs trying to say. Sita was a lady with no self respect, she was a simple walk over. I would say it is a great injustice to Sita herself to get such a comparison.

I would like to say CVs have twisted Ramayan beyond repair. By comparing Sooraj and Sandhya to Ram-Sita they have done gross injustice to the characterization in the great epic. I now think why I even started thinking CVs had some sense and they will do justice to the characters of Ram and Sita when I said story will flow similar to Ramayan.

There were many better ways to do it. I will give 2 or 3 examples

- Bhabo running out of plane seeing the combat and her beendini in danger. Sooraj running behind Bhabo. Bhabo getting shot. Entire RP blaming Sandhya. Sooraj deciding to sacrifice Sandhya. Keep mum about it.Tells Ankur the real reason.Family understands the importance of Sandhya. Sooraj brings her back, apologizing to her. Sooraj's character remains intact with the objective of Ram-Sita separation achieved

- My FF had looked at friendship as an affair gossip. CVs would have delved into it as it is a common problem working woman face. Whole family and neighbourhood shouting at Sandhya. Soorajsends Sandhya away. Tells her the reason. He works along with Zak and Ankur to clear Sandhya's name. Everyone realizes. Sandhya brought back. Again separation. Ram-Sita connection in a better way

- Same scenario.But Bhabo goes in coma. Everyone blame Sandhya. Sooraj sends her away. He is pained and does not accuse.Family goes haywire.Bhabo gains conscious. Clears the MU to family member. Everyone asks Sooraj to bring Sandhya back. Whatever republic day speech. Bring Sandhya back. Both Bhabo and Sooraj redeemed in much better way and again connection to Ram-Sita.

I would just like to conclude this post telling that after seeing DABH please don't ever think Ram-Sita was anything like Sooraj and Sandhya post IPS. Unfortuanately entire piece is totally disconnected and CVs seems to have some real messy problem to compare SURYA to Ram-Sita

Ram knew Sita is pure but still abandoned her when someone questioned her chastity..

Suraj was himself a part of hijack, he wanted Sandhya to come inside the plane which she refused while Sandhya asked him to stay inside but he came running after her .

When Bhabo got shot he was in a deep shock , mind was full of fear which stopped him from thinking rationally and he left Sandhya at the police quarters ( he said the same during the speech also ) ... There was also a hint of PTSD here , as the doctor asked Suraj and Bhabo to go for counselling sessions.

In Surajs case too, (Again connecting to Ramayan ) he did bring Sandhya back home when Bhabo got discharged , but when Babasa questioned her duties of a daughter in law , Suraj left her at the police quarters..

Bhabo made them meet again and again, it was evident Suraj's heart was full of love for Sandhya

At Godh barhai even she found out that there is a conflict between his mind and heart, Heart was still in love with sandhya but mind was full of fear which was stopping him from getting her back.

Not even a single day I saw suraj happy during all this time, He was suffering alot .

The reason I disliked Surya being personified as Ram Sita was mainly that Ram abandoned her and both had to bear seperation ..

Whatever examples you are giving regarding how DABH shoud have shown it , fact remains Sita was abandoned by Ram just like Sandhya was abandoned by Suraj..

Honestly there is no justification I can give to myself as to why Ram abandoned Sita .. N when DABH has taken Ramayan's route, I dont know who to question ..Ramayan or Cv's who have taken inspiration from it😕

But im still happy atleast they didnt show Sandhya having kids without Suraj ...and Suraj apologized to Sandy in a convincing way ...left the decision on her whether she wants to come back in his life or not.

Susee I know Ram never called Sita back , But in DABH Suraj and Sandhya had to go through brief seperation only..

The only part of Ramayan I can connect with DABH and why Surya are called Ram Sita is that ...Ram abandoned Sita and Suraj abandoned Sandhya ...Whatever reasons, the fact remains both did the same thing.That is how the personification was done.
