Looks like you have forgotten Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani. It was a huge blockbuster despite being a non-holiday release. Ranbir is the biggest thing from Bollywood right now among the youth of India I guess.

If Aamir's and Shankar's Sci-fi one is happening then it is gonna smash, absolutely smash each and every record. The hype, buzz will be insane.

Dangal is almost impossible, but its run-time (under two hours) can give is huge advantage if it comes on X-mas/any other holiday.

The only other film that can is Shuddhi, the story is a good one. The only hitch is how they visualize it.

I am taking films in 15-16-17 into account. Dhoom 4 and other such project are way off. By then some other movie will have broken the record.

Aamir's next is an off-beat film. Let's see. Though if not that one even I feel Robot 2 with Rajnikant in Christmas 2017 should be able to beat PK.

Good analysis. Exactly some film should beat before the next Dhoom. What about PRDP, Bajrangi Bhaijaan and Rohit shetty one? Do you feel they have any chance?

Rohit-Shahrukh next:
Nope. No chance. The story is likely to poor and people have been showing their distaste those films this year. The trend is likely to continue. HNY, Jai Ho, Singham2 etc all failed to sustain at BO. Same will be the case with this one.

Bajrangi Bhaijaan:
Has four open week, so should rack in ample money. Story is expected to be good as well. Beating PK is a very tough and huge mountain to climb though. I think it will cross 250 but come short of D3.

PRDP:
Interesting one. I think this can cross D3 provided the story clicks with the youth of today, slim chance though. People today are not into that kind of stuff anymore. The ceiling is high for PRDP than other but the floor is low as well. Could drop to around 200 cr as well.

PK is like Avatar of BW. Topping it would require something Insane. Even A2 and SW;TFA are not being tipped to beat Avatar. Same it the case here.It is going to take some-time before others catch up. Here is what I wrote about it in another thread:

"To break PK's record it is going to take a monumental effort. You need to have a brilliant story(good or great is not going to cut it. You need a PK or a 3 Idiots), amazing hype and WOM with fantastic repeat value. Unless a film scores on all those fronts, it is not going to cross 300.

Don't forget that others haven't even come close to D3 let alone PK. That should be an indication enough as to how difficult it is to touch 300. PK in 2015 is what 3I was in 2009. They are anomalies, going absolutely insane at the BO. It is going to take others a while to catch up.

A better target should be D3's 280 odd crores. That's mighty hard as well, Kick the second best is sitting 50 crores behind. Let's see who beats this first"
