Phew!

Smriti 'Tulsi' Irani: Grinding dust

Smriti Irani's maximum takes

"The sequence where Tulsi kills Ansh was shot over ten days! We'd shoot for 12 hours daily. I'd stand with a gun trained on Akashdeep (Ansh). Every day, my facial expressions and body language would change — that's always problematic for an actor. Then there was the sand — blowing straight into my face. At the end of each day, there would be three-inches of dirt layered on the pancake on my face.

I was grinding dust in my mouth even after I'd returned home. The sun was so intense that my arms are still sporting a tan. Then one day, during the shoot, Gauri Pradhan hurt her hand… Every day, people would call me, asking hopefully, 'Mara kya?' Only ten days later was I able to happily respond, 'Haan, mar gaya!'"
