Telugu industry is the second largest film industry in South after Tamil and the monopoly there is plain sad. Some nearly 1000 screens are under the control of Daggubati family and everybody is aware of their bond with the other huge film families.

The control these people have over stuff like screening is mafia like. Only their kids are supposed to make it big, if anybody else is on their way to achieve stardom, their movies suddenly wont find any distributors. Star-kids ke movies get happily released all over the state with no clash till some 2-3 weeks. Outsiders are good only till their doing chota mota films.

I do realize that the industry being small is a huge reason for this Mafia like monopoly but since you posed the question, I answered it.

I agree with the nepotism part. At least in Bollywood some talent is required to survive but in South Industry they keep on shoving talentless kids down the audeince's throat. 🤢

i just replied to this statement , even bollywood is forcing star kids on audience.

arjun kapoor, sonam kapoor, alia bhatt. sonakshi, i am sure there are even more beautiful talented these ppl trying to be in bollywood. but still struggle due to nepotism

nepotism exist everywhere...
