We get angry at person who are dear to us.It will be temporary.
Shoba will come her senses and will again go to Vikram for companionship.

Fantastic post and understanding of Shobha's character...

I do believe what the CVs are trying to portray with Shobha's character is one of the many women who go back into a bad marriage for the sake of their kids and suffer more than before. A weak woman who eventually turns out stronger than before...and I think Vikram is secondary to the story...

If the Cvs were to show Shobha rejecting Samarth, how would the CVs portray what happens if you do go back into a bad marriage? 90% of the women stay back and only 10% walk out of a bad marriage. Even a friendship like thing with Vikram is unacceptable to the masses though we would wish for otherwise.

Though I felt a disconnect with Thursday's episode after the attempted force on Shobha by her ex-husband. Shobha did not look or feel harrowed by the experience.

Sonali is good with emotional scenes but sometimes she needs to not really bother that much with her looks or makeup and make it feel real, like ruined makeup..disheaveled look...gathering her thoughts for a while over what just happened, having regret over her wrong decision etc.

Strangely I as a viewer could not feel her pain that intensely. COuld be the script or whatever, but the scene after Samarth leaves wasnt effective...

I felt the same. But the channel people have shown this as a decent set up,otherwise the scene would have been more aggressive and unbearable

I think Shobha has now hit rock bottom. Now she will realize her mistakes, and will gradually start to take her own decisions , and finally we will see a confident an empowered woman, who will stand up for her rights, and for what she believes in.
