Sad episode today. When Anjali was buried under the snow, she was reliving all her childhood memories as they say often happens when people are dying or they feel they are dying. Release of DMT in the brain or something.
Her feelings of neglect on account of her dad and craving for his affection were so poignant. In that scene, where her Mother was calling her Dad to come for her birthday party, he said you can give any excuse you like. He says if it was a son I could have handled it but since it's a daughter, you have to handle it.
But if it was indeed his son, I am sure his mother would not have distanced herself from him saying that oh, it's a male so you have to handle it. In fact, mothers dote on their sons.
Is it normal that sons always get love from both the parents while daughters are seen to manage with a little affection.
