He said this way long back before Deepika even talked about her's.

The making of the movie must have shaken him up and who would not after going to an actual morgue and a prison.

Good that Varun took help and is feeling better.

Depression & other such disorders are highly common in the glamour industry. SRK, Gauri Khan, KJo, Kajol, PC seem to have suffered /are suffering through it, this is plain conjecture. But it really does seem so. Watch the last KwK episode with SRK, he looks like he's going to break any minute.

All of them live in a huge, glamorous & luxurious bubble. There is no way of ever being normal, ever having any of what they did before they became all famous & highly wealthy. It's constant pressure of the worst sort, perennial, maddening pressure of keeping up Images which is a daily existential problem, of films, of other work related things, then just the maddening lows that fame & fortune bring the terrible realization that Fame & MONEY actually never bring happiness- Love does.

It's terribly sad. And it's amazing to see top actresses like Deepika & Anushka, and a rising actor like Varun,admit to it. It will so so far in humanizing the treatment of depression ,anxiety etc in our country. 👏
