Didn't they have a a very public fall out when Shatrugan Sinha was not invited to Abhishek's wedding? He even returned the sweets sent by AB sr or something. 😆

When did they patch up? At least SS invited AB and family to his son's wedding!

I was going to make a topic about this... I mean about whether the celebs who attend weddings attend as a close friend or even 'normal' friend or attend as 'acquaintances?'

I know for most people, you only invite those to your wedding/reception that you are close too. For me personally, whenever I do get married, I'd only invite all family members (near or far) and close friends. Why would I invite people that I only meet or talk to once in a blue moon? I doubt that every single celebrity that attends a Bollywood wedding/reception is a close friend of the groom or bride getting married.

I think after that fallout Amitabh met sinha last year when sinha was admitted to the hospital, Since then, it seems things have changed...so attending marriage is not shocking at all IMO...they might have misunderstandings which they cleared...

Yes when Shatrugan Sinha had open heart surgery Amitabh Bachchan went to visit him in the hospital. Things seemed to have calmed down after that. Last Diwalai Sinhas went to Jalsa and Shatrugan talked about how him and his family were treated like royalty by the entire Bachchan family. I think he was even invited to AB Sr.'s 70th birthday but said that this one meant more to him because it was at his house.

Sinha Sr. seems to have calmed down himself. I think there was a time when he always had something to gripe about.

They patched up last Diwali...

Shatrughan Sinha was quoted in a Mumbai Mirror report as saying, "Jawaani thi, josh tha, there were ego issues." But the feud seems to have ended when, after three decades, Shatrughan Sinha visited the Bachchans with his family to celebrate Diwali. According to a Mumbai Mirror report, he said, "I would say it was a Ram-Bharat milap. The Bachchan family invited us and we were treated as if we were the chief guests. All four of them, even Amitabh's daughter Shweta, welcomed us warmly and took good care of us." The report further stated that back in 2007, Amitabh Bachchan and Shatrughan Sinha's conflict had hit a new low. At that time Shatrughan Sinha had returned the boxes of sweet that had come from Big B's house after the wedding of Abhishek and Aishwarya, stating, "Jab bulaaya nahin phir mithai kis baat ki?" However Big B had responded then that those who were not invited were not friends to begin with.

He still does but I don't understand why he was so so angry that he wasn't invited to the Ash-Abhi wedding. 😆 The Bs are too diplomatic & tactful to openly show their displeasure & really- Be nice, let people be nice to you. 😆
