Sharad’i War!! - An article

An intense cold war is going on between Sharad Kelkar and Rajshri Thakur who are playing the characters of husband and wife in Zee TV's Saat Phere- Saloni Ka Safar. Sharad Kelkar plays the pivotal character of Nahar, while Rajshri enacts the title role of Saloni in the serial but the two are not even on talking terms and try to avoid each other as much as possible. Initially, the two had a brilliant on screen chemistry but once Sharad's real wife Kirti Gaekwad entered the show everything went topsy- turvy.

As a source reveals, ' As newcomers, Sharad and Rajshri shared a fantastic rapport with each other. Their off screen friendship resulted into a brilliant chemistry on screen which shot up the show's TRPs. But things started going wrong soon after Keerti, Sharad's wife, made her entry as Chandni in the show. Now, they do not speak to each other any more. And often it is quite difficult for the production house to arrange their scenes together.'

Rajshri was especially upset with their public display of affection and late coming. Often, she would have to wait for hours for Sharad Kelkar and Keerti before she could start shooting which irritated her most. And all this despite the fact that she was the chief character and soul of the show.
