For Ekta, Rape is a joke

look at every single of her serial. there is a rape. in Kyunki, it wasn't enough that she showed twice, first it was nandani and then KT.

I dont' think Ekta is a woman. If she was then she wouldn't show such thing Rape on TV

I agree that this domestic rape is a big probln indian yeah but why advertise such things on telly she shudnt be playin into them kins of hands she should not be encouraging it n that is what i think she is doin

but yes...i dont think she should be shwoing such things. it has a very bad impact on the general public and it may encourage some to go and do it themsleves...they will think it is their right as well but it is absolutely NOT. in my opnion, such things shouldnt be shown...yes people do get raped, it is more common in women than in men but still it should not be shown so frequently. she is showing reality which is not wrong, but showing it so frequently and that too for the self-interest of the character is wrong

but about her not being a woman, that i dont agree with. she is a woman and i think she respects women tremendously 😳

Well the worst is, when a woman in her shows is raped by her husband and then she ends up falling in love with him in the end b/c he asks forgivness several times and she never gets him or herself any help (I believe in second chances and forgiveness but you have to get medical help for such issues)... if she is really trying to imitate real life, a man who rapes has some issues (anger, rage, power-dominance etc.) which need to be dealt with.. esp. husbands who commit this act. They feel they have a right over their women and never really feel the guilt for what they have done in real life. And in the shows aren't they giving the same message that at the end of the day he is ur husband and you must keep quiet and hide his faults? So in my opinion there is no attempt to send out any message abt society b/c if there was.. women in these show would be speaking up against, the physical abuse they sometimes endure, double marriages, rape etc... instead of crying quietly in their room and hoping for a miracle to occur.

Plus by showing such acts again and again on TV in a form we see as enteraintment, isn't it desentizing the viewers against such terrible crimes? 😕

Lastly can you imagine how a woman who must have been through such an experience must go through everytime she turns on the TV to watch something terrible that she has endured being turned into "entertainment".

Theese things are common however there r shud be sum restrictions wen it cums to such issues, and ekta does not realize it.

The amount of times rape has been shown in K-serials, she should at least have a helpline number displayed at the end of the epi for victims of rape or marital rape.

i think the rape scenes in some shows are really based on the character and they are justified and the go with the flow of the story..Like Ansh-Nandini.... Ansh is a total out and out negative so he can do such thing... And wat did he get finally, Tulsi killed him....

KT didnt fall in luv with Mayank and Mayank is obsessed with KT...

Luving the same guy who raped you is shown only in koi dil mein hai serial...

Other than tat i dont think they used the concept in anywhere else...

And in KZK, mukti was raped and he got punished..

So if ekta uses rape concept, i think she makes sure tat the rapist is punished... She never left it....

And as someone above said, its common in india and she is showing tat on television.... So wen they see atleast the family members support their daughter in such crisis..
