Logical reasoning shows that UpMa can be nothing but a TRP gimmick.

Lets see the timeline of their equation:

Up till Diandra's eviction they were friends but nothing specifically special about their relation was seen. After Diandra was evicted they became close and from Upen's side things seemed to change. He clearly had a crush/fondness/liking whatever u can call it for her (it looked genuine to me from his side). But from KT's side it was still the same JUST friendship (again looked genuine), and she made that clear.

Cut to Ajaz's entry and he tells them they are looking like a couple outside...KT immediately reacts and says "kaisi gandi soch hai logon ki. mein ne kaha hai I have a BF and still ppl are thinking this". Upen too vehemently denies and agrees with KT that ppl have a bad mentality and can't see that girl n guy can be friends. He even snaps at Ajaz when he teases him about KT's bf's pic (which her mom gave) and insists they are friends. KT and Dimpy discuss Upen's possessiveness too and she again maintains they are friends since she has a BF.

So this is the status when Upen gets evicted...App he proposed to her at the finale dance rehearsal..we don't know what she told him but its safe to assume she did not definitely accept his proposal because...

Cut to Sambhavna enters and again asks KT abt her and Upen and infact hints that Upen might have feelings for her. and she again insists that there is nothing from her side as she has a BF. She actually seems worried that they were linked...After that there is no talk about Upen from her side...Till this point everything seemed "real" to me.

NOW Upen enters and suddenly out of the blue proposes to her again...WHY? If he already proposed to her before why does he need to come back and do it once more in front of the camera??? If he had the sense to not propose to her on camera b4 and wait till they were off-camera to propose then what changed now that he could not wait for 3 weeks more?? 😕

KT who till the night before was still talking about her bf SUDDENLY is all blushing and sort of accepting his proposal and they are now full-on behaving like a couple with PDA and all..Again WHY??? 😕 ...what made her change her stand?? There OTT flirting and PDA now is looking so unnatural and forced considering how they behaved the last time they were together...It does not look like natural realistic progression of a relation to me TBH...Last yr both Gau-Kushal and Tanisha- Armaan atleast looked like a natural progression instead of looking like a switch ON-switch off mode like this is looking now.

Upen n Sonali were sort of flirting with each other for a while and that did not look this cheesy from Upen's side earlier...I mean his flirting then looked real to me while this just DOES NOT. 🤢

So what my theory is that the channel were aware of Upen's fondness for KT (probably having seen the proposal during rehearsal)...Last year Gau-shal and Tan-man got them a lot of TRPs and both couples were popular...With the RM-KT-DM angle going on they probably thought cashing in on the Upen- KT angle would fetch them the same TRPs... Maybe have a KT-Up-RM angle similar to Gau-kus-ajaz...Upen has admitted that he needs money so they must have offered him a significant sum to come back and flirt with KT and create a romance track similar to Gaushal...Since he obv already likes her he agreed...He must have come and told her abt this plan and she obv must be thinking this will make her a popular as Gauhar...Thats why without wasting any time they have jumped into full-blown romance and PDA as soon as he returned without any build-up to it whatsoever...🤢😉😛

That's the only logical reasoning for what is happening now...

But then this complicated Upma recipe needed some complicated lamba analysis so what to do. 😉

I agree majority of them are and they look fake...so we are not fools to think any of that is real 😛

Last yr Gauhar-Kushal were the only couple in the history of BB till now that I thought were to a degree "real" ...this I am saying based on their LF interactions and the fact that there was a growth curve in their relationship and they were not jumping into PDA and confession in the 2nd-3rd week itself...Obviously most of the audience thought that too which is why they were popular as a couple in comparison to any of the other so called "couples" in BB b4.

But in this case him specifically coming back just for this is taking "fakeness" to another level.😛

Considering Karishma's stand about her BF till the day b4 Upen came, I am positive nothing serious happened between them b4 that...

We probably were not shown Upen telling her about the TRP gimmick plan 😉😛

This UpMa angle is no doubt the crappiest script but is extremely off putting.. Sure Karish's bf is a douche who hasnt contacted her BUT the Karishma Tanna we've come to know isnt the type to suddenly have a light bulb moment and move on within a span of 2-3 days to someone else (no matter how tight the friendship) without confronting Rush and than beginning anew once outside the BB house (knowing full well that there are only 2 more weeks left) ...! Upen is obviously in need of money so not surprised that he agreed to this but Tannas consented behavior towards it is hella shocking esp when her moto was "i have a bf" "Rush and i will marry after the show" ?!?! Either she too was bribed into it or BB put down certain offers ...

Nonetheless its definitely fake and i highly doubt it'll rope in any such TRPs infact its just dimmed out Tanna's chances of winning and has also repelled a couple of her fans..
