Arjun's second film with Amit shelved?

Arjun Kapoor and Tevar director Amit Sharma had planned their second collaboration even before their first film together hit the theatres. But the film's poor showing at the box office seems to have scuppered their plans. Sources close to the development told Mirror that the duo had decided to collaborate on a dacoit drama called Daaku Sultan, but the film's now looks set for the cold storage.
A source said, "Arjun was hoping that Tevar would break the record of his previous films. But clearly that hasn't happened. There were several differences between producer Boney Kapoor and Amit Sharma during the making of the film itself. Now that the fate of the film is for all to see, they have decided not to go ahead with the second project."
When we contacted Amit for a comment, he hurriedly cut the phone, but later producer Boney Kapoor called us. He admitted that there was a 'miscalculation' as far as Tevar was concerned, but he is optimistic about another collaboration with Amit.
"He's a man who knows his job," Boney said. However, our source told us that the producer wanted Tevar's climax changed which Amit did not agree to.
Boney added, "Not all films do well. And my association and relationships with people doesn't depend on the box-office collection of a film." Does this mean that the trio will work together again in the near future? "Yes, I will make a film with Amit again featuring Arjun Kapoor. We are yet to develop the script so I can't reveal any details."
