Countries like? I've lived in Muslim countries and I'm still living in one, I've never heard people accuse women if getting operated. At that extent, people realise it's for medical help.

And you don't see the irony of your Main Post?

You are advocating and validating the very same thing you criticize in this post. Except you are advocating and validating it by encouraging litigation.

It amazes me how easily people want to take away individual rights, or are so quick to object and point fingers at shows with characters making individual choices and decisions, while at the same time talking about freedom and rights of people.

Her calling those male DOCTORS into her room is the only thing you find offensive and a sin? GUL has been making a mockery of ISLAM from the day this serial aired. And yet only her calling 3 male DOCTORS in her room you find to be a sin?

Btw when MUSLIM women are pregnant are male doctors not allow to do their deliveries? Just wondering, since you seem to have read the book on SINS much more than I have don so.

I take it you would rather suffer than be operated by a male doctor then, per your logic?😆

Not all Muslims adhere to such beliefs. Please do remember that there around 1. 6 billion people who practice this faith.
To believe that she is committing a sin being treated by male doctors in her bedroom and that she should fear rape while being treated by men, who have taken an oath to not harm, but to heal only speaks of ignorant patriarchal cultural beliefs blended with Islam. Not the faith itself.

Please refrain from using Islam to generalize and support such beliefs. It's offensive to some of the 1.6 billion people who also consider themselves Muslim.

Wen did I said getn treated by male doctors is a sin? I am not a conservative freak. D way she called d doctors to her bedroom was wrong. She sud have informed d family n called nurses too if she was too despo to get operated in her bedroom. As for suffering instead of calling male doctors, Tanveer is not all suffering. D way those doctors came as imposters was wrong unless those doctors were corrupt. Not intended to hurt someone's feelings. I know Gul makes a lot of mockery of her serial.

You didn't hurt anyone's sentiments, on the contrary you provided people with some much needed laughter, and for that I salute you.😆

@bold, whats the point of that? She is trying to hid the truth of her non-blindness from the family? is she not? LOL!

Try not to overreact over a FICTIONAL show, like those so called protesters did with PK. Religions are bound to get offended in shows, but those who commit such nonsense will pay their dues, we should have better things to be doing in our lives than scream bloody marry over every little instances.

ISLAM, HINDUISM, JEWISH, BUDDHISM: whatever religion you originate from or practice do not forbid the saving of lives. Think of things from a logical POV, in countries where women have no rights to work etc, and there are only MALE nurses and doctors, does that give us the right in the name of religion to say "you lady can die" because we cannot go against dumbfounded principles that have been founded by people rather than GOD himself.

But again to each their own.

yes I am from a muslim country and there women are not whipped or stoned. Just because some Muslim countries ill treat women, it doesn't mean Islam permits women to be ill treated. Not all muslim countries and citizens are well read or well educated. Their practices don't represent Islam. To know a religion, one must go through the religious scriptures not judge on the basis of the activities of the followers. There are blacksheeps and extremists in every community.

Dear it's no sanity bringing religion in discussing Fiction shows. There has not been a single thing done in QH which reflects muslim culture. So it's better not to go in that zone. It wasn't just yesterday, today, it's been 2 years since we are watching so many things happening which aren't appropriate. 😊

At least, I provided laugh to people😆. As for PK, I watched half of d movie n there is nothing to be made fuss of. I read wikipedia to know d whole story n found it awesome movie. I think there were religious views cuz sadhu babas were shown in bad light such as dhongi lootere types but it was in fact a good message. I am 4m India. In Hindu too, there r lots of stupid restrictions in women in villages.
