I am a doctor dear. In our ethics always a female patients when being treated by a male doctor always one female should be present with him. That can be the patients relative, a female doctor, a nurse or a female attender. It's mostly preferred to be from patients side. In Islam I don't know about this rule. But according to medical ethics a female patient can't be attended without another female persons presence. In operation theather also there will female nurses & attenders. Never male doctors alone. Atleast in India that's the rule. Also she can't get eye operation in her bedroom. It's a major operation which should be done only in operation theather under monitoring the vitals. If vitals are not monitored & if vitals go error even death too can happen. Also b4 the operation patient should be admitted in hospital for complete routine checkup & all her routines should be normal then only she can be operated. B4 operation she should be given anesthesia. After operation she will be blindfolded for next one week completely. Not like in show where tanveer roams with out her eye bandage. The patient will be discharged only after a week of operation after opening her bandage & after that there will be a final checkup for the eyes to make sure that her eyes is perfectly normal.

Yes I agree case should be filed against the cvs & gul for showing these kind of medical things like a blunder. Also Muslims should have filed a case against them 1 1/2 yrs back when they showed the famous zoyaan accidental nikkah mocking the rituals & ceremonies of nikkah.

islam does permit women to be treated by male doctors when a female doctor is not available. There's no harm in doing that. A male doctor operated on my mom while she was having me. There's no need to sue anybody for that and it is not a sin. The only illogical scene was the in-house eye surgery and that is the only thing that should be criticized.

It's a fictional show, such things shouldn't really matter IMO. If they started following every rule and regulations of religion and such, they wouldn't be able to show much cuz they would be getting sued right and left.
I'm sure we've seen far worse things than this in other shows if not QH itself.
