I know - I was disgusted at the man who did this.
How can anyone be so heartless?

This one breaks my heart. It's just so painful to watch and can keep me awake at night...thinking about what in the world they both mother and daughter did, to deserve this. What a sick world we live in. It reminds me of the song:

Mad World - Gary Jules.

cari I don't know the story to this! it was new to me.. saw it one of those wrap up of 2014, god knows where i was in 2014 cuz everything in that wrap up was new for me and disturbing.

@bellydancer it is a strange world, i find it harder each day to reconcile seeing images like that or hearing unfortunate stories and I can't help but think ...how is a person supposed to move on? I don't want to become unaffected by such things. And I also can't help but wonder as a family we show solidarity and that is what humanity is as well no? one big family? so it should be inherit that we enact such solidarity. which leads me to wonder how can we consider ourselves to be functionally sound when someone out there has been hurt like that?

It depends on the person. Some never moves on and others inspires us. I saw a documentary last year, and I can still not get it out of my head. I cried a lot, cause it was just so beautiful. It was about Rasul "Rocky" Clark. A former running back for Eisenhower High School. He was this bright student and athlete. Sadly one day he was tackled during a football game and suffered two broken vertebrae in his neck and a spinal injury. He was paralyzed from the neck down.
He really did touch my heart, cause he choose to never give up on life. He was a fighter. Despite the fact, that his $5 million insurance policy with the school ran out, he NEVER gave up. He is my biggest inspiration and my hero.
We are healthy, yet we complain about the smallest things in life. And then there are people like Rocky, who had it so difficult, but to complain or give up on life was NOT an option.
I later found out, he passed away in 2012. It's amazing how a stranger can touch such a special place in your heart. RIP.

There are places where people don't know what 'humanity' is.
Where it doesn't exist.

People have become so heartless and cruel that they have even lost the right to be called 'human'!

And you are right, you don't know what other goes through till you step in their shoes.

there are lot more examples of inhumanities than humanities.I feel sick, real sick.. I have stopped judging people. The best we can do is improving ourselves and our next generation.. The rotten ones are good for nothing. But those who are still budding could be saved this way.
