Yeah Arzoo was supposed to be the exact opposite of Zeenat, naive, someone who did things from her heart and cared about people. It was these qualities that endeared sahir and made Alvira feel that she might be able to get Sahir out of his hell. If they show her to be a gold digger and money loving b**** then whats the point ? Might as well have brought Zeenat back !!

🤣 They should get a new writer for Arzoo, someone who can make her look beyond her nose. Seriously, just to gain the TRPs they have made a total mess of everything,

The way I see it the hero turned anti-hero and now the heroine is also becoming all cold-hearted and money-minded. Who the hell are the hero and the heroine then?
Only Ashrafi's and Arif Miya's characters have been left untouched. Thank God Joe left when he did... nahin toh usko bhi villain bana dethe!🤔

The grey shades sit well on Sahir because they are being played by Harshad, who is a seasoned actor and has the calibre to emote the negatives and positives with equal aplomb, No offence to Shivya, but she has a long way to go before she can emote a ruthless, made of stone, character convincingly. Plus he has been shown that way right from day one, his extremity is what drew us to him, in contrast Shivya was like a breath of fresh air, fun, full of life and yet had the resilience that comes from having to grow up fast in unfavorable circumstances. So sudden turn about in her character isn't going to go down well with the viewers..

I remember Alvira telling Sahir once that " tum usko daante ho, apne paas se bhagate ho, woh rotee hai, magar fir aansoo ponch kar aage badh jaati hai" For m that was Arzoo, resilient, emotional and yet confident enough to face whatever challenges life threw at her. Seeing Sahir and Arzoo together was fascinating, it was like the beauty and the beast coming together.

There were always loopholes in Arzoo's character portrayal, but later, to accommodate Zaki as the parallel lead, they compromised her character beyond redemption, to the point that despite Shivya's brilliant performance, she has failed to evoke much sympathy for her actions.
