I think Drashti is happy with television. Respect her decision. She knows what's best for her.

Having worked in both the industries.. I feel television is a better & a safer medium. In films if you are working as an actor..you do not get alot of chances to prove yourself & it's a lot more complex!!
But when you are working for tv..you get to know the public opinion about u..your character regularly!
& so u also get alot many chances to prove yourself!!
Even comfort wise...i prefer TV!
Working in films...u do get paid more..but then being on a film set it's too formal!!!
But when u r working for tv...the cast & crew is more like a family & your creative inputs are more!

I think BW just over exploits the women's talents but never gives them the desired name and fame and credit...

There are such talented women in BW but they dont get the credit they deserve.. its a man's industry.. a famous hero comes up with a crappy story that is cheated from south and the movie is a roar.. and heroine is just like a showpiece.. and the movies which actully hv some substance usually go away silently..

I think TW is more apt for showcasing one's true abilities.. as DD has been doing all these years... i hope she gets some good project and she comes back with a bang

I agree to what you said...but the perception of our industry being male dominated is fading!
As an AD i have worked in both the industries & frankly speaking..i feel that TV is a safer medium but our films are not that bad too..
We put in equal hard work there as well & even the pressure is more!
With films like kahaani..dirty picture..mardaani..fashion..heroine..bobby jasoos..or even queen & a lot more..u can't call it a male dominated industry!

After JDJ...I think Drashti should have gone into films! That is what she deserves!!! But regardless, I am sure she will not disappoint.

I am ok with Drashti's decision to not do Bollywood movies.

There really is no scope for heroines. In one year you can have one or two heroine oriented movies that become a hit. The rest are buried or not appreciated.

At least on television serials, females can have stronger roles. They have more scope.

In each of Drashti's serials so far, she has had a chance to do comedy, romance, drama, etc.

I do believe she is better than most of the Bollywood heroines if ever put to a test. And the schedule for a serial is CRAZY. It takes hard work.

😊 i agree with all those movies you named that these were awesome and surely had a strong background but do they get the same response as kick, chennai express, dabangg, singham
Even when these movies actually didnt have a gripping story but still they were over-rated because of the actors working in these..
The movies like kahani, mardaani, fashion.. usually are not that much of a success.. though the outlook is now changing..
And i didnt mean that people dont work hard in BW.. they must be working harder because they have a lot of competition and time boundations..
