was the sharad yuvraj scene needed?

Ok I love how Sharad loves suhani bt sometimes he is just a pest the way he is always telling Yuvraj what to do and reminding him of his duty. He is like a true big brother for suhani bt he should also be a good friend to yuvraj give your advice dnt force it on him and step back and let them find their own feet. I swear it does get annoying if a friend oversteps the mark with their advice and invades your privacy. And I loved, loved, loved Yuvraj's reaction to him today. Really they didn't even need to show that scene btw them coz Yuvraj knows what he has to do. He doesn't need to be reminded of what sort of person suhani is, he knows even when he is drugged lol. Bt I guess they still feel he might be slightly in love with souyma so they feel they stil need to direct him. And sharad hatred for souyma grows day by day really to protect his suhani didi he can go to any extent. And man I so wish she hadn't made him her brother coz he looked really hot in the kitchen scene with her and they really look nice together. Bt Yuvani forever lol

Sandi, I do think that scene was needed because although Yuvraj knows the real Suhani, there have been instances where he doesn't act to protect her. Plus, he doesn't know that there is a whole gang plotting against Suhani, so he needs to be given a slight pinch at times. Sharad knows exactly what's happening and doesn't want Suhani to get hurt which is why he keeps reminding Yuvraj of his marriage.

Also, I've always felt that Yuvraj and Sharad's friendship was not one of equals. TBH, I find it very weird when Yuvraj doesn't stand up for him in front of everybody😕 or the way he sometimes just shuts Sharad up with one look/scathing remark. It feels like Yuvraj is the boss while Sharad is the loyal assistant. Yuvraj has this habit of curtly responding to very trivial jibes, both with Sharad and Suhani.

Nice I think Sharad thinks in his head that he has to make Yuvraj relaise his feelings for Suhani before its too late that's why he is trying everything he can to get Yuvraj to relaise it ASAP before Souyma and dadi do anything

Sharad and Pratima don't give him enough credit. Yuvraj is a grown man, he knows his right from wrong. He doesn't speak up half the time but honestly in reality some of us don't speak up as well, every man for himself. Yuvraj has this "let people talk and let them do what they want" attitude. Also during the dinner date, Yuvraj told Soumya that she know how to take a joke. He knows Suhani is a strong girl, so he only reacts to the things that hurt her and things she is unaware of. Yuvraj knows Dadi very well, she never liked Sharad and maybe in the past Yuvraj tried to defend Sharad but nothing has changed. So he feels there isn't much he could do for Suhani, he stands up for the way he can without causing much drama. Everyone wants a peaceful life.

Sharad and Pratima are the moral conscious of the show. Sharad scenes were nice today...be it with Yuvraj or Suhani. He's always seen as an outsider, so his perspective of the family members is different from Yuvraj. I don't think Sharad knows what happened on new years eve...except Soumya said something to upset Suhani...but what...neither Suhani nor Yuvraj have told him. His instincts and evil trio's attitude and past experience of Soumya has taught him well... so he notices everything which Yuvraj doesn't. Today he didn't prod much on what his friend was thinking...but just expressed that Soumya has worn out her stay and it's time she moved on. With Suhani...he knows she innocent of all the deceits that has happened so far and as a good brother is protective of her.

I agree totally.

I can understand Dadi, RagMen and Soumya treating Sharad like they treat him but Yuvraj treats him like an inferior. Just as he does with Suhani, he does not stand up for Sharad who is supposed to be his best friend.

I have a feeling that Sharad was always considered inferior in the house by everyone except Pratima, I mean even Yuvraj. One only has to see how Yuvraj does not even bat an eyelid when Daadi insults Sharad to know how much Sharad is of value in this house.. However Sharad is extremely loyal and is just looking out for Yuvraj in his own way.

Let's remember that it was Sharad who also helped Yuvraj when he was trying to woo Sowmya. But as a friend/companion, he saw Yuvraj suffer in Sowmya's hands and hence is totally against her now.

I don't think Yuvraj considers Sharad his equal. He is his best friend because Sharad goes along with everything Yuvraj does and they have not had any big misunderstandings.. Even if there are any, my guess is that Sharad would be the one who would compromise.. Yuvraj is just used to treating him like the dependent that Sharad is..

Bang on! I have always felt the same too. @bold- This sums up their relationship. Sometimes I feel like Sharad is just a glorified version of Ramesh. No one in the family truly respects him, including Yuvraj. They are friends 'cause Sharad always toes Yuvraj's line but we never see Yuvraj doing something that Sharad wants or listening to him. He always has to have the last word.

I think Yuvraj has internalised all the mistreatment of Sharad and views him as a lackey. Their dynamic is weirdly reminiscent of the Boss-PA dynamic. Sharad's love for Yuvi is unconditional like Suhani's, which is probably why he empathises with her. Yuvraj just seems to take it for granted that his granny will berate Sharad at least once a day.

I think scene is needed. They haven't shown yuvi's thought process until today.. We need someone to tell us what's right when we are in dilema or "we know it's right and don't have the courage to stand for it" situation..

I am quite new to this show.can any one tell me how whether sharad is related to birla family? or is he too an over staying guest (not that I object;he needs to stay back for ever!) like soumya?

@shamil he is yuvraj's cousin bt from Pratima's side. So dadi doesn't like him staying there we think he is an orphan that's why maybe he is staying with them. They haven't mentioned it in the show yet as to why he stays with them.
