orkut is an Internet social network service run by Google. It claims to be designed to help users meet new friends and maintain existing relationships. Similar to Friendster, orkut goes a step further by permitting "communities" of users. It is also invitation-only: Users must be invited to join the community by someone already there.

datz so sweet of u 2 ask 😳 😛 .....it's pronounced "or-kit" it's a communication site..ppl talk there....each person gets a scrapbook... n his/her frds reply on da person's scrapbook... n dat person has 2 go 2 their scrapbooks 2 reply baq.......ther e rcommunities.. u join n there r different topics in communities...where u answer or tawk n make frdz.. u can also uploada profile.. n ur picture... n ur videos there....overall it's a fun site...there r great communities..there reven celebrities there...datz y ppl on inda-forums inform others..dat "diz celebs si on orkut".....so join it now....buh CAUTION..it's an addictionnnn!!! 😉
