Thoughts? Could she have done a better job than Kareena...Would this have been a better debut film?!

Wow, that's a coincidence! She's lucky she got her break with SRK then since they rejected her for 3 idiots.

If she did get 3 idiots, then yeah that would have been a much better debut. She did good in the audition

Hard to say if she could have done a better job than Kareena. Kareena is a good actress. But I think Anushka would have done pretty good as well.

I don't know if her career trajectory would have ended up differently. Everyone goes through hits and flops. Today she is part of the biggest blockbuster and record breaking PK. She might not have gotten PK had she been part of 3 Idiots.

Rajkumar Hirani didn't even know that Anushka had auditioned. I suppose logistically it will become too time consuming for a director to watch every audition tape. That's why there are casting directors etc. But as you said, that was a good audition. Makes you wonder how many talented actors or actresses are still waiting for their big break. Or how many directors are missing out on a great performance?

Yah..it really does make one think!! Their is indeed so much talent outside these Kapoors and Khans! Talented people are ignored in this industry where surname matters more than talent! Think how different BW would be...
