I was just about to make a post on this :)

I saw the episode a short while ago & some moments were really touching. So lovely to see the reaction of fans...so welcoming.

But the lady who shared her life story with Neha made me a little emotional. Hats off to the brave lady for not giving up. This also reminds us that although serials are exaggerated & magnified for entertainment, they do stem from reality. There are women out there that can identify with the hardships faced by Urmi.

But I must say, Neha speaks very well. Soft spoken & articulate. Good to see her intercation with fans :)

Can you please just give me a gist about the lady's story. I saw the video but I can't understand a word of Hindi. I'd appreciate it if you can.

Sure :)

The lady was telling Neha & RD that she was always loyal towards her husband, but he accused her of many nasty things. What exactly, she did not explain but I think she was hinting at infidelity. He also made her break contact with her parents. After marriage the lady willingly left her job...but then wanted to start working again & was searching for a good job but her husband did not support her. Things were very difficult for her on a mental level & she lost her self confidence.

She said that today she is happy that she took such a decision & divorced her husband. She didn't tolerate the torture...& if her ex husband is watching, then she would like to thank him for making her a stronger person.

Her situation was more about mental abuse/ torture.
So basically she divorced him & is now getting re-married. Once again her hopes & aspirations, & that of her parents will be filled in her doli (Doli armaano ki reference)

Thanks so much. Good for her. Mental and emotional abuses are far worse than physical abuse because they do damage to a person's psyche. External wounds heal with time but internal wounds cause through mental and emotional abuses, take even longer to heal or in some cases don't heal at all because they go deep into the roots of the inner beings of a person, that even after years of them happening a person is still tormented by them.
