The curious case of Pritam Pyaare on Bigg Boss 8
l've been thinking to write about Pritam for quite some time but didn't get a chance up until now...
Pritam, when he came in to the Bigg Boss 8 house, was this funny, humble, polite, down to earth and absolutely correct person. I do understand that when one stays in that house the situations and circumstances might go against you but one has to keep OR at least try to keep the balance... It is but natural for the person to react but I personally feel the reactions have to be logical and not just for the heck of it.
Bigg Boss house is known to be a pressure cooker where anytime SEETI BAJ sakti hai. But that's the tricky part.
Pritam was going real good till the time his wife came to see him. From there on, something changed. He just stopped thinking straight. Yes he was right to listen to his wife as she probably is the only person who knows him well, but then I think his entire shift from the P3G gang to the bedroom gang was a hasty decision. He should have just listened to his OWN mind and heart and not see the outer picture.
This shift made things worse as he then got into the crossfire between the two warheads and in the process lost the ability to think on his own... Ab bas SEETI BAJNE ki Deri thi... BAMMM... The aggression towards Dimpy erupted in the Chor Police task.
From here on, Pritam Pyaare started being wrong. He himself admitted that he intentionally punished Puneet & Gautam whereas clearly these 2 men worked real hard in that task. The good part is at least he admitted it. But then the damage was already done!
Then after some time, he went back to the P3G gang and during the immunity task of sitting on the chair, once again uski SEETI BAJ GAYI & this time, he lost his cool on Dimpy.
Dimpy poked him... fine! But then giving her a hudki ke phek doonga tujhe just made him look like the bad one. When Dimpy abused him and his Manhood then okay, I understand that any man would get offended so fine!
But till date he keeps saying that it wasn't the poking that was the issue it was her abusing... Errr but Pritam Pyaare I saw the anger and ill behaviour from the poking itself... the abusing was the last nail in the coffin!!!
Now that he came back into the P3G gang, he suddenly started laying low and we didn't see him much for a week or two...hmmm. I'm sure he must be finding it difficult to figure things out hence the lay low attitude... kyun Pritam ji SEETI BAJ GAYEEE aapki (wink wink)
Anyway once Praneet was evicted, Pritam once again was a lost soul. Up until the Finale day, we barely saw Pritam..
The latest task "Yeh Tera Ghar Yeh Mera Ghar", we saw a lot of movement happening, for the apple task we saw everybody all putting in their effort apart from Gautam. Then came the boxing part where we saw Gautam come back to life and won, then the pillow fight where champions lost and then the final task.
The soap task where "clearly" Dimpy lost... and Pritam being the Sanchaalak again came under scanner... phir usne SEETI BAJAI... & he realised that he had to make the decision in favour of his team or else they wouldn't win with majority... He declared Dimpy as Winner... UNFAIR!!!! His decision was not wrong but yes... it was his "STRATEGY" ...
In the Bigg Boss house, there is nothing to be ashamed of as far as making strategies goes especially for the tasks coz that's what the show is all about!!!
What I didn't appreciate about Pritam is that if you can strategise, then why point fingers at challengers for doing the same?? Then he shouldn't say "he is not a player"!
More so Pritam started the day with telling Rahul that Gautam purposely isolates himself and that he has gone mad and then the whole confrontation in the bathroom with Gautam then coming and telling Sambhavna, Mahek & Sana that he won't sit with them if Gautam is around...
Supporting Ali in all his silly tactics...and then suddenly...When Gautam explains things to him he hugs him... This clearly shows that somewhere he is confused about the right and wrong part...
Hence I repeat this house is a pressure cooker!! It will test and try your pressure all the time but ONLY YOU can try and maintain the balance and that's what Pritam needs to start doing ASAP!!!
I personally feel he is a very strong contender but then like everyone else he too has his share of flaws.
